  Everyone that I've met at this bank is very nice and professional. I love that I can call and get an actual person on the phone. Their hours are super convenient too. I don't know how anyone could give this place a bad review.

  I was very surprised to see a few poor ratings for this bank and felt like I needed to right the ship with some commentary of my own. I am a long term investor having dealt with dozens of banks through 40 years of Investment and banking work... That is simply to establish that I have a broad experience in banks around the country. I have found this bank accessible, creative, expedient, and forthright. Everybody I have dealt with has been pleasant and quick to respond to my requests and needs. I have moved most of my banking to their online platform. Lindsay Newman has been stellar and I know that Chris is very knowledgeable. I have also been very impressed with the floor staff. Jason has been very accommodating. I only give them 4 stars and not 5 because I'm sure there are things I haven't yet explored and I know they won't do everything right but my experience so far has been on point.I don't know the details of what those who have given FB&T a low rating and so I cannot discount their claims, only relate my own experience.

  Well my wife and I have been with FB&T for several years now. Holly and the gang have always been very professional, patient and honest about any loan or other financial transactions. They got us out of jam that another bank had put us in due to timing of a mortgage loan that was not completed within 90 days that the bank guaranteed us to finish within. Holly was able to complete the whole transaction within 30 days...we in-turn moved all of our banking needs and money to FB&T in the Forest Virginia area. FB&T is a true family oriented bank and you are definitely treated like" family ".

  On November 17, 2016 The First Bank and Trust Company foreclosed on our home and after years of sacifics and investment in such a home after two years of contimued request to meet with executive management to explain the lender abuse that we had received and such that trapped us in loans that we could not escape as one attorney desribed the situation. We were forced out of pur home on January 17, 2017 and learned that one of First Bank's own was moving her personal property into our home on January 28th and that she had been allowed by First Bank to purchase our home for a far less amount than we were allowed to save it. This is very complex sitution and for ones interested in more detail please look for my soon to be published internet blog on our entire banking relationship with First Bank in which I have no fears of its accuracy. I will post a review once it has been posted.

  This place is ridiculous can't access your money when you need to and then they tell you go to another bank and cash the check and then bring the cash back. Bunch of crooked liars

  Love this Bank. I have my home loan and all my banking needs in one spot !!!!!

  If you are going to have a loan done , take it somewhere else. This is not the place to Trust.
