First Advantage Reviews

Tammy McCreery1I am a guardian/conservator for a friend. She had a checking and savings account at First Advantage. When I became co-conservator we decided to close my friends accounts and put her money in a joint conservator account. After a couple of years, we paid a contractor for work he had done on her condo. The Advantage online paid him through her canceled account. They couldn’t explain why. The contractor wasn’t happy and threatened to sue. We then decided to close her accounts and change banks. We closed the account in December. It is now April and the assisted living facility informed me that in March and again in April, First Advantage paid her $5000.00 room charge. What??? On a closed account. I contacted First Advantage and they told me it was my responsibility to call their bill pay department. I did and waited on hold for 45 minutes. I will never bank there again!

Amanda Ballard1Everytime I call I'm told they're too busy to help me and they will call me back. Rather sad, seeing as when I'm inside of the actual bank and face to face the staff is pleasant and helpful. I can't make it into the bank or I would. Very frustrating!
