  Recently my Fiancé and I were looking to refinance. We were just looking online and were contacted from Financial Freedom Mortgage after putting our information online. We really were in no rush as we wanted to shop around. We received a call from a representative and we were giving the information we were ready to hang up as we wanted to shop around. I agreed to listen to what they had to offer but very hesitant as we refinanced two years ago with another Mortgage Company and things did not turn out the way it was promised. After being on the phone for about almost 20 minutes, Ms. Diane Mantuano entered the phone call and started saying how the representative is being nice and we were not being compliant with the request to give her the social security number. BEING VERY PERSISTENT! My Fiancé continued on the phone with Ms. Diane Mantuano and so we decided to give them a try. A couple of days later, Chris Grasso came to our home to provide further information and to get documents. Mr. Chris was polite and conversations were agreeable until after they left and my fiancé decided to review the numbers provided. After reviewing the numbers my Fiancé calls Ms. Diane Mantuano and tries to tell her he wants to stop the Loan process. All she kept saying was that we were going to save money and the multiple closing costs. I have to say at one point she had me convinced that I proceeded to explain to my Fiancé and we continued with the Loan Process. Several days went by and I receive a call from another Employee from Financial Freedom Mortgage to verify my fiancé’s employment. It became awkward as she is requesting me to provide her with a PIN number sent to the phone she was calling. Unable to give her the PIN Number because it was a Landline, she requests for me to give her my fiancé’s cell phone number. I would believe my fiancé phone number would be on file. Later that day, when my fiancé returns home from work we discuss the phone call from the staff earlier in the day. Since we are puzzled and unaware of why my fiancé’s employee portal password was changed. We decide to call Ms. Diane Mantuano and request further information in regards to how and what is the protocol for employment verification. For Clarification purposes, we were very clear and understood employment verification needed to be completed. Ms. Diane Mantuano went on and on and on and did not let us say a word. All she kept saying was we were going to save money and what do you mean you don’t understand what was done in regards to the employment verification. I became very upset and I cursed and said “what the F***. Can you just listen to what we are asking, She thought I cursed at her directly which I didn’t. We received a call from Mr. Kevin Watson accusing me about curing and being disrespectful to Ms. Diane. I made it clear and took responsibility for my curse word. At this point after reviewing that Financial Freedom Mortgage was closing cost and all the other negative experience we once again decided to not move forward with the Loan. When requested for the Appraisal refund and the Appraisal Report as we PAID FOR IT, we were told by Kevin Watson there was no REFUND but since we paid for the Appraisal we could have the report. THAT was about almost FOUR weeks ago and every time we call for the Appraisal Report, we are told, it is not ready and or it wasn’t sent out. I contacted consumer affairs and I am pending a phone call back. I have e-mailed Mr. Kevin Watson and Mr. Chris Grasso and no e-mail back from either one. Sadly to say, I would not recommend this company to anyone! They are persistent with telling you, YOU WILL SAVE MONEY but their closing costs are ridicules. They are taking their time to send us the Appraisal Report in fear of us looking somewhere else. JUST SEND THE APPRAISAL REPORT WE PAID FOR! AFTER FURTHER RESEARCH WE CAN EVEN GET THE REFUND, BUT JUST WANT THE REPORT ASAP!

  I had a very positive experience with Financial Freedom Mortgage. Lynda H. And her team had an open line of communication through the whole process. They were able to get a loan for me even with a questionable FICO score and large credit card debt.Parts of the process were stressful, but I was nervous I wasn’t going to qualify. In the end, I did qualify and got a loan with a great rate to refinance my home and cover my mounting credit card debt. My credit score is rising rapidly! Thanks to Lynda and her team, my financial house is getting back in order. I felt I received great costumer service through the entire process.

  I was a little skeptical when I heard the time-line for closing my loan in 30 days. I had just dealt with Bank of America on a closing and it took 5 months. Financial Freedom did not disappoint. I appreciate the professionalism of Mr. Kareem Smith and the team is getting this done. Thank you.

  VETERANS BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FINANCIAL FREEDOM DELETES UNFAVORABLE REVIEWS THIS IS THE THIRD TIME IM POSTING AND I WILL NOT STOP. So I have read the reviews and they are pretty accurate. The VP does visit your home and in my case makes promises that he could not deliver, but was very professional and offered helpful financial advise. Now his staff on the other hand is incompetent. They have no clue how to treat people, and if you are a veteran, you will understand we expect results and no bs excuses. The office manager Nadia, sorry if I misspelled that (not really), talks down to you like she is working for a Fortune 500 company. Sorry my friend you work as an office manager for a mortgage company hahah not impressed. I, like many veterans, will not tolerate lateness, avoidable mistakes, and people who think they are better then you. Please vets learn from my mistakes and go somewhere better. I’m sure it will not be hard to accomplish that. Oh by the way I just did a refinance with penny Mac for 1.99%, contrary to what I was told you can get a better deal anywhere else but here Semper Fi Sincerely Disappointed Marine

  Wanted to take this opportunity to thank Victoria Murauka and her team for going above and beyond to help me secure a mortgage, take care of my other debts and restore my sense of security. After the divorce, I was left in a great deal of financial hardship and needed a lending institution to help me get matters back in order. Financial Freedom specializes in the less germane but moreover, Victoria took the time to listen, give me the support I needed and help to get to a better standing financially. If you have been through any sort of financial hardship and not necessarily by your own hand, it becomes so overwhelming one starts to feel less and less secure; afraid of loosing their home, and (in my case) embarrassed by how things were falling apart. Victoria is a true professional which was obvious within the first five (5) minutes of the conversation; but the genuine care and support throughout the process was a blessed surprise. When the loan was approved, I cried. I cried because a professional - Victoria - helped me regain confidence and a sense of security and worth. Those are rare qualities these days. Most of the other institutions who contacted me after I went on Lending Tree shut down the conversation when "recovering financially from a divorce" came into the conversation. I guess those lenders just wanted quantity. Not Victoria (or Financial Freedom), quality came first. The quality of the credit and how to improve my situation and QUALITY in the manner with which I was treated. It is a goof feel when you aren't seen as the problem but apart of the solution.   Kevin and his team were great thru the entire mortgage app and closing process. I had a special situation that needed taken care of and it took a while to get thru it and get approval but Kevin and his team got us where we need to be and have changed our financial future. They communicated well and updated us throughout the entire process. Thank you so very much for getting us back on the track to debt freedom!! It feels great! I would definitely recommend this group to anyone! If you are in a bad financial situation please call these folks before you do debt reduction or personal loans they can set you on course to feel very good about your finances and mortgage and remove the stress!!   Financial Freedom Mortgage helped me out with refinancing my home when other mortgage lenders wouldn't. Whereas the big banks put my property value and loan amount into their magic black box and let the computer decide that my loan was not a good candidate, FFM was wise enough to look at my credit history, payment history, employment history, and other financial factors to make a more accurate risk assessment and get me into a loan that worked for both of us. They were prompt in following up every step of the way and made the process as easy as possible. I would absolutely work with them again in the future. It's a welcome surprise to have an actual person advocating on your behalf and giving credence to the unique and specific situation rather than blindly following a set of guidelines.

  Before they approved us, they got all of our documents and processed us before they approved us, then Cameron came to our house and had us sign up for the loan, collected $1400 for two appraisals. Then our file went to the processing department with Iyana of which took two months, all the while promising us a closing date once the file moves to underwriting, then BOOM, we can't get you approved? So we lost $1400 in cash, hours of collecting documents, weeks of phone calls for what? We gave you what you asked, all you had to do was turn us down on day one!! All of our money time hopes and dreams was just a game to these people. To ad insult to injury Kareem said we were closing Tuesday, on Saturday we get a voice mail telling we were not approved after we were past the approval, past processing, in underwriting on the way to closing. I do financing for a living, I would never do a family like this. You don't even have the decency to talk to us directly but a voice mail with news like that. It take me 10 minutes to get someone approved...Smh

  I cannot thank sufficiently Financial Freedom Mortgage and his staff: Destiny, Cameron, Alexis, Lynda, Rhindetta etc for a fantastic job well done. Rhindetta as I called Detta was probably the best loan officer I've ever interacted with. Her follow-up and attention to every little detail as well as her knowledge was very impressive. Everything she promised was delivered with professionalism and expertise. From start to finish it took the loan exactly 21 days to get approved and closed. My closing was ready within the timeframe of her saying, everything was done on time without any issues. I couldn't be happier for such a great experience, customer service was excellent. I'm highly satisfied with customer service I've received. I will definitely recommend Financial Freedom Mortgage to all my family members and friends.   This company provided a refinance with efficiency and professionalism. They worked to get me the best of everything for my situation. The VP actually visited me at home to explain all the details. I’ve had many refi’s and this one was far simpler and quicker.
