  This has nothing to do with the people working at this location. They are super friendly and help you to the best of their abilities. The one star review is for the company themselves. Don't walk... RUN!! I have worked with a few banks in the past because I have moved a few times and I needed a bank that was convenient to my home. They are insanely difficult to work with. I moved to a location that doesn't have a bank or ATM within 2 1/2 hrs of me so of course I needed to find a bank that worked better with my location. Closing my account took 3 months!!! And the amount of fees this bank charges is astronomical. Learn from me, don't open an account with them.

  This is the absolute worst bank in the world. The customer service is beyond awful. Hands down, it is the most sneaky, suspicious, and underhanded business I've ever had to deal with. I wouldn't bank with them another day if they paid me!

  I’ve been a customer of Fifth Third Bank since 2010. I’ve used many of their banking products and features over that time period to include their Money Market Account, Essential Checking, auto loan services, Early Access, and My Advance. Fifth Third Bank has really never been a people friendly bank. They’ve settled several lawsuits for things like predatory lending with their Early Access feature ( they really put the screws to people with that one) and they’ve settled a case that involved their ATM fees which included charging for balance inquiries. Until a few days ago I didn’t even realize these suits were ongoing until seeing them online. I may be an unknowing member…who knows? It seems that Fifth Third Bank hasn’t learned a whole lot considering they’re charging up to $25 maintenance for checking. They will even without warning disabling features like My Advance. IMO if you’re not wealthy or simply want more features with banking like free checking and the ability to get an advance on a payday direct deposit Fifth Third Bank is a very poor option. Don’t walk away from Fifth Third Bank…run! There are too many better checking and banking options available!

  Never had problem at the branch but I moved money between accounts in the app and half of it just vanished. The transaction cleared and removed money from my checking account but the account I transferred to only received half the money. I talked to customer support and they said it was a known issue that their IT has been working on and they had no idea when I'd get my money. So, the app just disappeared my money and 5/3 shrugged at me. Great experience there.

  This has been my bank for about 5 years and they have never let me down. The service is good and my personal banker Clark Fitzgerald makes it obvious that customer service is a priority. He didn't try to sell me on some high interest rate credit card that has a ridiculous limit on it. He explained all my banking options in easy to understand terms. He has followed up with me on multiple occasions to ensure all my questions are answered and when I have one he always has an answer. Clark has made me a permanent customer of 5/3 bank on Old Fort Pkwy and someone who tells people to go see him.

  The absolute worst bank I have ever banked with. Fifth Third Bank in general is not like any other bank. They will hit you with outrageous overdraft fees that are nearly impossible to catch up/have fixed even if it’s in their error from the National Fifth Third Bank outage. I have banked with Fifth Third for a little over a year and I have had to call or visit the branch nearly every month due to an account issue of some sort. This bank is in a different time zone than me so that poses an issue. Also, if you try and transfer money let’s say from your checking to savings account on Friday (apparently after 7pm I was just told) it will not post till the following Monday therefore leaving you having to go to the atm to withdraw from savings and deposit money if immediately needed (this has happened to me twice). In addition If you deposit a Fifth third check into your account at Fifth Third at the atm or mobile app, they treat it as a non Fifth Third check and it will take several days to clear. So I have wasted my entire morning on the phone with customer service just for them to be so rude to me (all 3 times I called this morning) and now I have sat at a branch for 30 minutes with 2 people in front of me to have yet another issue addressed after the teller here said the banker would not be able to help me but to sit and wait anyways. I highly suggest banking elsewhere.

  I usually go to the Fifth Third bank on Rutherford Blvd, but since this one is close to my job I stopped by to make a small deposit. The Bank teller just seemed to be in an awful mood. Maybe it was just a bad day, I’m not sure but she made me feel extremely un-welcomed. I don’t use this company as my primary account and it’s honestly because all of the fees associated yet what makes it even worse is the treatment from this specific location. She treated me differently while the next person who walked in the door was greeted with a smile. Very disheartening.

  I come to this Bank solely for the purpose of my job. I have to make deposits and get change daily. This is the worst bank I have ever been to. Not necessarily because of the company but because of the staff. They are very slow, very rude and they take forever to give change back in the Drive-Thru. Normally my experience is decent or mediocre but today it was absolutely horrible.

  Kelsey and Steven are the best! I have been with Fifth Third for like 15 years and Kelsey and Steven always provide me with the best customer service I can expect. I started going to this Branch when Kelsey and Steven got transferred from the Rutherford branch. They always provide me with prompt and personal service

  Worst bank for commercial banking in this bank I had a two commercial account and and personal with them almost a year just open another commercial account just realize they had put hold on $8000 cashier check from Redstone federal credit union after calling Redstone federal credit union my check was cashed by fifth third bank on August 26 2019 at same Account I put five checks over 5k and found was released two days latter but this check had hold on it it means fifth third bank got my money but they would not release it till September 4th that's stealing money I am going to open another commercial account with US bank cross street and move on I wonder why fifth third bank it's not growing because of bad management you want my advise stay away from fifth third bank specialty one in old forth in murfreesboro they are theft.
