      I've been this bank foe.ovwe 5 years again I love the staff. Customer service has always been great but later the bank teller Alexandria has passed me off. Everytime I call she puts me on hold a d never returns. Now if you cant do your job please tell your boss. Im really not liking these new ppl. Bring back the original staff.

      I was inside Kroger today and happened to pass by the teller window. The lady sitting there smiled and said hello when I made eye contact. No one was at the counter so I pushed my shopping cart to the side and stopped to ask if she would break a $20 bill into a 10 and two 5's. She smiled and asked if I had an account with them. I said no but I needed some change to pay a contractor that would be at my house later. She replied, I'm sorry but if you don't have an account with us I can't do that. I smiled and said never mind, I will get the Kroger cashier to do it for me. As I continued to shop the fact that she could not so something as simple as change out a bill really began to make me angry. I could understand if I was asking to cash a check, or if she were busy (NO ONE WAS ANYWHERE AROUND THE COUNTER.) and I thought this is stupid. Instead of being able to rush through the self checkout at Kroger, I now had to stand in a regular checkout line and wait which delayed me from meeting my contractor. After getting my bill changed by the Kroger employee I stopped back by the bank window and said excuse me, I'm not trying to be rude but I want to make a comment about your policy. In a day where banks are charging consumers for EVERYTHING, and at a time where competition for new customers is stronger than ever, I would think that my small request (which cost you nothing) would have been honored. Were you afraid you would run out of 5's and 10's? I don't really know anything about your bank, However, when I become unhappy with Wachovia I can assure you that your bank WILL NOT be one of the choices that I consider. As a manager in the restaurant business where competition is everywhere, we usually honor most requests. ESPECIALLY ones that don't cost us any money. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A POTENTIAL FUTURE CUSTOMER LOST FOREVER!!! They call it CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A REASON.

      After checking out at Kroger I realized that I forgot to get cash back. I looked around to see if they had an ATM. I found the ATM connected to the bank inside Kroger (A PUBLIC SHOPPING CENTER) I inserted my debit card into the slot, and it immediately TOOK MY CARD and said I needed to contact my bank for further action. No where on the ATM does it say, if you don’t bank with this bank IT WILL TAKE YOUR CARD INDEFINITELY!!!!!! I was beyond furious. I walked up to the counter to ask about what I needed to do, and was met with attitude like this happens all the time, and it’s no big deal. I bank with Varo, an online bank account. I was perfectly ok with paying an ATM fee, but to take my card without any reason is STEALING!!! Since my account is online there is no way for me to get my money. Needless to say the teller and the manager had zero compassion and told me that this happens when a non customer uses their ATM. WOW!!!! So to all of the KROGER PATRONS DO NOT USE THE ATM AT THIS LOCATION OR YOU WILL BE WAITING 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR A NEW DEBIT CARD!!!

      I had a relatively new savings account with over $30,000 (8 months old.) It was the first time I went to this branch and wanted to withdraw $1,200.00 cash. I gave them my withdraw slip and my drivers licence. The teller said she would have to get the manager. She then handed the manager my drivers licence and he said he couldn't give me the money. I said "what exactly seems to be the problem?" He said I don't think you are really the owner of the account. This day I had on no make-up, old work out clothes and a cap. I was INFLAMED! I pulled out 2 credit cards with my picture on the back, my picture ID from the college where I am a professor, Sams Club photo ID, and a check book (from another bank.) He stood there and just looked at me! I said either give me my money or put me on the phone with your boss - at this point I was not nice, but didn't raise my voice. He ended up giving it to me with a bad attitude.

      The manager was rude and aggressive, but worst of all the people working weren’t knowledgeable. Speaking without first knowing the information. Bank of America up the road is leaps and bounds better. Bank there instead!
