Angelo Muto1I went to the Lombard branch because of fraudulent activity on my card and Kenneth the banker I spoke with did absolutely nothing! Said that I had to wait 24 hours and then he would give me a number to call, I’ve never in my life been so dissatisfied with the service I received! I will be canceling all 3 accounts I have with them and I will be filing a report specific to KENNETH! Absolute joke

Bob Stringham2I opened a business checking account and was told that all I needed to do was to open a credit card and the monthly fee would be waived. I was told by the banker I needed to wait 90 days before I could open an account, but all I had to do is open the credit card and I would not be charged a fee. I went to sign up for the credit card and was told the card was not available by another banker. I was then told that the credit card was not available all through COVID and if it was I would need to do $500 worth of transactions a month to have the fee on the checking account be waived. If I had known either of those things, I would not have opened an account there. Now I have to waste time finding a new account for my business and writing this review. The only reason this is not 1 star is because the second banker refunded the monthly fees I had been charged.

Kari Manzanilla1I usually deposit cash at their drive thru ATM with no issues, but when they recently changed their ATM to a new and updated one, I went to deposit $40 in cash into my Access 360 card, and the ATM gave me a prompt saying "we're sorry, no cash was detected" and gave me two options of 'no more deposit' or 'more deposit.' I pressed no more deposit and the machine just returned my card back - no receipt so I have no records of this incident happening. On the second try to see if my cash is still there, I repeated the cash deposit again, but when I looked, the cash is gone and the machine did receive. To fifth third bank local bankers, has this happened to you recently? And just my luck it's Sunday and the bank is closed, and customer service is closed.

Yuriy Shulga1Unbelievable horrible service, I did international wire transfer and the banker Keneth Shillo made two mistakes and after two weeks the beneficiary still didn't receive the money! How hard is it to follow the instructions and details that is on the paper? Instead of putting the purpose of the transfer, that is the requirement to receive the funds, he just entered bunch of numbers and letters. I guess, it takes a lot of effort to state the actual reason for transfer. When I came to the branch to talk to him, he just left for lunch. What a coincidence! Wow! This wire costed me $120 and after two weeks I still can not recall it. Had to dispute it and wait up to 90 days to get the money back. Never had such an experience before. Filed a complain about this banker and really hope he will get fired, so nobody else would go through the same experience again!

Went to open a HELOC loan and the loan officer along with the underwriters took 2 months of our time and at the end, the whole process expired because of their incompetence. No one here takes any initiative to check in with you. I called in to talk to the branch manager to complain. The branch manager wasn't available when I called nor did anyone ever call me back. Unacceptable for an institution that claims to be 5/3s better than the competition...whatever that means.

Julia Anikowski1Would not bank here. They have messed up my account several times. I opened my account not allowing ANY wildrawls unless I have the cash in there. Apparently that didn't matter. They allowed wilthdrawls creating overdraft fees taking more than half of my child support deposits.

David Yackle1Would not be my choice of banks. We have our church accounts there and when we recently moved to update and go to on line banking it became a nightmare of incompetence. In transferring monies to the new accounts they placed a $5000 hold on our savings account and no one knows why. We are in the process of moving to another bank.
