  Michael and his team made the application and loan process incredibly easy. They have a portal that makes loading documents easy and secure. They provide timely updates so everyone knows what's happening. Michael was always very responsive to emails and phone calls, thoroughly and patiently answering tons of questions about fixer-upper loans, down payments and financing options. I've always had luck finding a home quickly but the lending process was a nightmare. This time, finding the home was a nightmare and the lending process was pleasant and smooth. It's the fourth (and last) time I've gone through the mortgage loan process and it's been the easiest, most pleasant experience I've ever had.

  Excellent communication and A+ customer service. Easily beat competitors rate on top of lowest origination fees I found. From contract to close was 28 days, did not bat an eye at time line. Made it happen with no delays. Sherri Little in Beaufort, SC was the provider of phenomenal service.

  I work for a new home builder and I've worked with Carl for several years helping other people purchase their home. When my time to purchase my first home came Carl was the first person I called for help. He's the best at what he does. He's not pushy and doesn't come at you like a sales person. He gave me all the info I needed to help me make the best decision. Carl gets it and he truly cares. The whole process went so smooth and best of all I closed on time! Carl will be the first person I call when I buy my next home.

  I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the mortgage process was to purchase my new home. Everyone was very patient and explained what was going on and what to expect. I closed quickly and on time. I would recommend/use FBC again!

  Extremely unprofessional! Regret leaving my old mortgage company for this. The representatives are not helpful at all and their automated system just loops you around. The online payment is always down but when you call they want to charge 10$ to make a payment. It’s not the fee that bothers me but if your online system is down I have no alternative but to make a payment thru the phone. On another note you call for informa regarding escrow payments and breakdowns and the representatives are completely lost. Get real professionals to handle your loan this company is a joke

  EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in FBC MORTGAGE and their representative Karen Grimm. We applied for pre-approval/pre-qualification. We were initially interested in the IMPERIAL OAKS community in Dover/Seffner Starlight Homes)FBC is their exclusive lender we applied and was approved however we still wanted to look around and requested our pre-approval/ pre-qualification letter which should show how much we were approve for and the interest rate. Raj G. our sales rep with Starlight Homes assured us before applying this would be provided. We called Karen to request this information ( she hardly ever answers her phone) we called more than a few times and sent multiple emails before this information was provided although missing some requested information without explanation. Please note I contacted the sale rep as we having issues obtaining the information and advised I would report the Company (he first tells me he would contact the mortgage company when he came to the office Saturday UNACCEPTABLE this was information that should be provided when we requested it , not the sales agent. After that I just happen to receive an email saying she would provide the letter. We provided and trusted this company with our personal information and essentially they did not want to provide the letter that our real estate agent said was a simple TEMPLATE. This company does NOT seem TRUSTWORTHY. Considering filing a complaint.
