  Superb, absolutely superb customer service and unwavering professionalism; the Fort Myers Branch Manager, Shawn Eglseder, provided my family and me with an excellent refinance loan. The interest rate is fantastic and the closing costs were by far the best we found anywhere. Shawn promised to treat my family and me like his family. He clearly delivered!   I can’t recommend Shawn and his business highly enough. I was referred to him by a colleague/friend that had a positive experience with him after receiving a mailer. Once I contacted him it took less than 8 hours to get a VA IRRRL refinance plan, send him the documents needed and get the loan locked in. Amazing!! In my profession, I strive for my team and I to be a customer service-focused and team-oriented organization - Shawn and Family 1st are exactly that! He responds quickly at all times (even when’s he’s in the middle of a personal household move) and is ready to answer any question quickly. It took less than one month from contacting Shawn to signing the closing docs for our refinance. Again, Amazing! The name of his business is exactly how he runs it - family 1st! If you don’t give him a chance when you are looking for a loan or refinance, I firmly believe you are missing out. A great family owned small business that is led by a high quality individual!!   I recently refinanced my home with Shawn at Family 1st and he was amazing! Before calling Shawn I spoke to about 10 other brokers and was frustrated with misinformation. Shawn was extremely patient and knowledgeable about the different types of loans and the loan process.   I highly recommend family 1st home loans to anyone looking to buy a home, or refinance an existing loan. We have worked with Shawn on 2 separate occasions on FHA refinance of our home. Both times, the process was absolutely perfect and without so much as a hiccup. Shawn is amazingly knowledgeable and every step of the way he is there to help..   We had a great experience with Shawn at Family 1st! We got an excellent new rate with a streamline VA refi. The process was easy & smooth and we got to skip a payment! The processors were prompt, professional and ensured everything was good to go. To close, a notary came to our home to sign the papers at a time that was convenient for us. Highly recommend Shawn and his company. Excellent experience!

  Shawn is an absolute Machine. Seriously, I think he’s a robot inside. He will absolutely take care of whatever you need in the best and most professional manner. I would give a 10 star if I could.
