  Billy and his team were incredibly thorough. It was a relatively (in my view) small mortgage amount, but we had extraordinary circumstances of having to initiate our application while out of the country. Billy made sure everything that was needed to see the mortgage application to a successful conclusion was taken care of. The entire team especially Krissi Nicks was extremely helpful in their follow-up and follow through with helping us complete and submit all required documents.

  I’ve worked with Billy and his team on three home loans and one refi. In my experience I’ve come to realized shopping around is a waste of time bc Billy has consistently put together the best loan package available each and every time.   Fm Mortgage isn’t what it used to be. Rodney Wilds and his team do not practice proper communication. It took me constantly following up and pressuring to get information. I’m self employed homebuilder and realize there’s more steps to approving me. I was continually promised a closing date and it continued to get pushed back without any reason. After almost 6 months of working with FM, multiple times being told it’s approved and ready to close, they just send an email and say they can’t do the loan anymore. I’ve been a loyal customer of FM Bank for years. Because of my job, I work with a lot of mortgage lenders. I would never recommend FM Mortgage to anyone trying to close a deal within a reasonable amount of time. Amazing what can change in 1 year when all the top talent leaves.
