  My husband and I have had the privilege of working with Rene Randall and Chris Andrews on countless transactions - the first time was to buy a rental property, and most recently to purchase the home of our dreams. On all occasions, we ended up having extremely difficult, complicated and challenging transactions; however, Rene took these head on, walked us through every step with patience and care, and answered our millions of questions even if we asked them multiple times. Rene definitely has a wealth of knowledge about Nevada County, surrounding areas and the real estate market in general. We have always felt she was upfront and honest even if it meant we would end up losing a purchase. She was also great in sharing her experience and recommendations with us to ensure we had enough information to make the best decision we could. We felt well informed throughout the entire purchases and refinances at all times. She is extremely responsive to any and all questions you have and you can trust that she always has your best interests in mind. We truly felt that Rene prioritized our needs and desires first, and that always came above what was best for her. I know she even lost a little sleep over some of the complications we experienced on one of the home purchases. That truly shows her integrity, compassion and work ethics.   Everyone here is very nice, however they are NOT on it...and dropped the ball several times during my loan process. First, I'm a real estate agent in the business - if they handle me like this, how can I expect my clients to be giving 1st class service? 1st problem is Rene locked my rate in HIGH, even after rates went down. I ended up paying 4.87% - I called someone else and they quoted me $4.25% - wow BIG difference, by that time it was too late to pull out. 2nd issue - Rene told me to go ahead an remove my appraisal contingency, which I did - then called me a few days later saying appraiser conditioned appraisal because there was no deck railing. Really? After I removed me contingency? It cost me $1250 dollars - not to mention an outrageous appraisal fee of $785 + $200 re inspection fee. Don't use Jackie Hill of Appraising Gold Country either - unless you want to pay outrageous fees. Then finally after I removed my loan contingencies her team kept coming up with item after item that they needed up until the very end. Which of course ended up delaying the closing a week. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN FOR MYSELF AND I CERTAINLY WILL NOT SEND ANYONE OF MY CLIENTS TO THEM.

  I hate to give this place a bad review. But this is now the 9th time I have been told I would be called back and still cant get answers from anyone. After I closed on the house my questions were no longer answered. Very nice people but pretty disappointed
