  We had a very negative experience with ERA attempting to rent 303 Fernandina Cay for a month. The property is at Main Beach and a few 100 steps from the beach. The rental was for February 2023 and I reserved it in early March 2022. On April 6th I called to confirm the reservation and get the updated price for 2023. I told the agent I need the conformation in writing because I was planning to cancel a VRBO rental and I didn't want to do that until I had a confirmed reservation with ERA. Their agent confirmed the reservation in an email with the price, exact dates and a reservation number. In my mind that is a legal contract. Based on that confirmation, I cancelled a VRBO rental that I had previously booked. The very next day ERA called me and said the owner wanted to use the property for that last 2 weeks of February and would I consider an alternative that was downtown and no where near the beach. We said no thank you. Then the story changed and they said the owner no longer wanted to rent monthly (although their site still listed a monthly rate) and would I consider a house on the beach for $1,200 more that was "outdated" to say the least and would not meet our needs. We said no thank you and ERA has reneged on the reservation. Our vacation plans are now completely screwed up. Renter's BEWARE!!!

  I am updating my review of ERA Fernandina Beach Realty. The wonderfully attentive office manager Kim Lynch arranged our stay at a delightful ocean front residence in Fernandina Beach. We arrived at a spotlessly clean and very well furnished home right on the ocean. Freshly laundered carpets and furniture added to a home ready to enjoy and relax in. The agents kept us posted all along about what amenities were included with the house. A great vacation with so much to do and all within easy reach of this ideal location. If a great vacation and hassle free rental are what you are looking for than this agency is the one you want to deal with.

  We love renting from ERA in Fernandina. They have always been so wonderful to our entire family and very professional. They are knowledgeable about everything on Amelia Island and even surrounding areas for day trips. We look forward to renting from them again.

  Oceans of Amelia condos were wonderful. Right on the beach, beautiful views, fully stocked with anything you could possibly want or need. I highly recommend staying here.

  No one can have a better advocate, supporter, "go to" man then ROGER MARTIN!! He has , and will continue to walk with us on our journey to get what we want, where we want, and when we want. He's kind, isn't pushy, provides great information for his clients. I know we'll be in great hands with him. (He's also very kind to put to with all my phone calls). He goes above and beyond.

  We recently relocated from Las Vegas NV to Fernandina Beach with the assistance of realtor Rebecca Hutchinson. I typically do not write many reviews, however, the service and assistance we received from Rebecca was unlike no other. Rebecca is extremely professional, responsive and knowledgeable and made our cross country move as easy as it possibly could have been. Rebecca went above and beyond , and took the time to introduce us to services/businesses in our new home/town to save us valuable time and stress. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for a response, and in all honesty, Rebecca contacted us first on many of the different issues during the purchase our new home.   We used Donnie Fussell as our agent for multiple lot sales in Old Town, Fernandina. Very professional. Very responsive to any questions aske by phone or text. Would recommend him for any of your real estate needs. Best thing that we can say about Donnie, was he is honest in all his dealings.

  We recently rented a house from ERA Reality in Fernandino Beach for a week and highly recommend that you use another company to visit Amelia Island. After hurricane Irma cancelled our plans to be in the Keys last week, we had several friends suggest we visit Amelia Island. We contacted ERA and was told that there was very little damage on the island and rented a home on South Fletcher. We asked all the right questions and was told everything was great at the house we were renting, including that they had Cable and Internet services. We arrived and were told at checkin, also, that we had cable and internet and were given the passwords (that turned out to be incorrect had it even worked). We had neither! When we visited ERA on Monday, the property manager basically could have cared less about the cable and internet, or the fact that a mirror had fallen off the wall in the master bath and that both trash cans were completely full and smelled. Her answer to us after we expressed extreme dissatisfaction was, "I don't have time to walk through every house before it's rented to check on things"! They did take the mirror that had fallen, never replaced it, we had to use a neighbors trash since ours was never picked up and WE had to get the cable fixed finally 5 days into our vacation - Internet never worked, which exhausted our personal data and coast us overage. Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to rent property on Amelia other than ERA, they are far below acceptable to deal with.

We did experience a few issues on the Island after Hurricane Irma hit that affected public services such as trash pick-up and cable/internet. I apologize that we did not make that clear during your reservation process and that our attempts with Comcast Cable did not resolve the issues during your stay. We would like to invite you back in the future once all services have been restored to our community to re-experience Amelia Island and all it has to offer.

  I've had the same excuses that Barbars Sed experienced with some pregnant woman in the main office when renting. My family and I came to Amelia Island for a family reunion a few months ago. When we entered our rentals for the week, neither were cleaned at all and the trash was still in the bins. We called the office to complain and had the same experience, the woman who should've compensated for our many inconveniences acted very unprofessional, rude and treated us as a bother. Never will return to that place again.

  Ms. Duncan, I am sorry that you felt our staff did not respond to your requests during your stay. I can assure you that we do walk properties to ensure that they are ready for check-in and if you found yours not to meet your expectation, it should have been addressed immediately in a professional manner. Unfortunately, we do not have control over the trash issue, however we work very closely with the Trash Dept of the City of Fernandina to verify timely trash pick-up at all of our rental properties. I apologize that you were disappointed with your stay and I have addressed these issues with our team as well.
