  I started receiving calls about refinancing my home from my current lender and although I knew I wanted to refinance I didn't feel comfortable. When I contacted Jay Rakes he made me very comfortable and he GUIDED me through the entire process. I was never rushed or pressured to lock a mortgage rate. He gave recommendations but always assured me to make the decision when I was ready. Jay Rakes served as a coach helping me make the right decision at every turn. I expressed the desire to skip two mortgage payments so he adjusted my closing date. I am military and working in the state of Virginia (my home is in Colorado) so he coordinated a very professional mobile notary during the Covid-19 crisis. My experience has been phenomenal. I now have a lower rate AND a lower mortgage balance than what I expected. 10/10 would use again!

  Jay was amazing and made sure we got the lowest rate possible. During the process he was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail to make sure we knew every aspect of the process. During our refinance, closing costs ended up being a few hundred dollars higher then the initial estimate because of my wife and I's credit being slightly lower than we originally thought and Jay made it right without us even bringing it to his attention. I cant recommend him enough.

  I am a military veteran, I shopped around for the best deal. Equity gave me the lowest rates, with absloutley zero origination costs. There simple honest approach was fast and easy. Thanks to them I saved 400.00 on my mortgage and I skipped two months payments. The processors where great. I would highly recommend them to other Vets.

  We regret doing business with this company. We could not get the CEO (or his mom who works for him) to call us back in a timely fashion. It seems all we ever got were apologies and feel we rarely received any useful information on our loan. We closed several days late and received a surprise of almost an additional $5000 closing costs we had to pay. We do not recommend doing business with this company as we had a VERY BAD experience and ended poorly at our expense.
