  Ray Edwards is one of the loveliest people I have had the pleasure of working with! He helped guide me through the entire process of buying a home for the first time. He was kind, empathetic, thoughtful, dedicated and so hardworking! Despite how busy he was, he always made me feel like a priority and feel like no question was ever too small nor too silly! Whenever there were minor speed-bumps, Ray went out of his way to ensure they were handled without any delays in the overall process. Due to the insanity that is home-buying in 2021, there was an issue with being able to schedule an appraisal to be able to close on time. Ray went above and beyond to ensure that the appraisal was scheduled and all deadlines were met. He was a joy to work with and is a pleasure to know. I feel very grateful to him for his help!

  I originally had a different lender to purchase my first home with, but I ended up switching over to Edwards Financial a few weeks before my closing date. This was a little risky, since I had already sent in all of my documents and the paperwork was signed with that first lender. But a very good friend of mine insisted I switch lenders because he knew Ray and his team were the best and that I wouldn’t regret it. My friend had already purchased a home with Ray before and always refers everyone he knows over to Edwards Financial. I ended up filling out the form online for the loan and then sent in all of my paperwork to get approved with Ray. I’m so glad I was referred over to Ray because he ended up giving me a better rate than my previous lender! This whole process took about a week and then I was set! All I had to do was close on my home. Ray and his son Eric were such a pleasure to work with. They were very professional and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Always kept me up to date with any changes and checked in on me to see if I had any questions or concerns before closing. Thank you guys for such a wonderful, stress-free experience, especially for a first time home buyer!

  Ray was a fantastic mortgage broker. He discussed various mortgage options with us, explained the terms and conditions in detail, and found the best mortgage rate and terms for our financial needs/situation. As first time homebuyers, he patiently walked through all of the steps and paperwork when we needed assistance (even outside of "normal" business hours). When there were issues that needed to be addressed, Ray took care of it. We would highly recommend Edwards Financial Services.

  Ray Edwards is a friendly professional with in depth knowledge and years of experience. I recommend anyone in need of lending services go with Edwards Financial. I just closed on the VA loan I used to purchase my home 33 days after my first offer! There were two counter offers. I didn't put any money down on the loan. In my case, I got nearly half of my earnest money back when I closed. Ray had all of the rules and requirements for my conventional VA loan considered and planned for. Ray made every step of the process a breeze, with great communication and explanation if needed. I wish I knew that buying a resale home could be so easy a long time ago!

  Ray helped me accomplish a very challenging refinance. When no one else could find a solution to my unique problem, Ray found a way. He was caring, hard-working, resourceful, knowledgeable, prompt, dedicated, honest, calm and very encouraging throughout the process.   Over the past 35 years, I have endured several real estate loan processes - most of which were something short of pleasurable. Recently my wife and I decided to pursue the purchase of our dream cabin in the white mountains of Arizona. We had the good fortune of working with Ray Edwards and the staff at Edwards Financial Services. Ray skillfully guided us through a very lengthy and complex loan process. Ray's knowledge and attention to detail were instrumental in ensuring that all the supporting documentation required to complete the loan process accompanied the application. Ray's integrity and professional demeanor were truly evident as he worked with the underwriters, mortgage lenders, real estate agents and title companies to expedite our loan in a timely fashion. The end result was that we secure a loan at a great rate and we now spend our free time enjoying the outdoors at our new cabin in the mountains.
