  DO NOT USE THEIR ATM if you're banking with another institution!!!. Even though they're offering the service if anything goes wrong they will not helped you at all!!! My husband withdraw cash on Sunday and the machine swallow it back up. After that it was jammed and nobody could use it. The bank refused to give his money back to him! They said the other banking institution needed to initiate the complaint. We explained that it was a bank in the Philippines that there was 13 hours difference so it was impossible for them to call them, and that a lot of staff didn't speak English...THEY DID NOT CARE. Worse, they admitted that they were able to count the machine to verify our claim that the money was swallowed back but that they would not initiate that action! So pretty much unless you have months to waste hoping to get your money back if something goes wrong do not use their ATM to withdraw money from another account. They offer the service but they're not willing to back it up when their machine goes wrong. This is highly unethical!

  As my last review was hidden from the public for whatever reason, I will use my email that is directly related to my ECU Account to post this one. So as of 12/10/2020, my car has been repossessed by this company. After fighting for months to get an extension, until my va unemployment benefits became available, I encountered nothing but threats of repossession, each and every time I called to try and work out a way to keep my car. As someone who already suffers from mental health problems, this whole experience has been devastating for me and ECU has only made things worse with all the threats made against me when I was just asking for a little help during a pandemic! This bank doesn't care who they hurt! They dont care if you only owe a few thousand dollars.... I was on my last year of my 6 year loan with them and they took my car from me during one of the most devastating pandemics in US history! How do I make my doctor appointments? How do I get to the store to get food? This is what ECU does to its loyal customers. This is what you can expect if you do business with them!

  Amazing bank but please get new ATMs that don’t require envelopes. The ATM gets so backed up because people are taking an extra 5 min to fill out an envelope. Most banks don’t use envelopes anymore. That would be awesome if you guys didn’t either. Other wise I LOVE your branch. It’s the only one I want to use and that’s why I face 5 stars. Thank you!

  Absolutely the worst service at any bank I have ever seen trying to open a account here at this location is Completely terrible my fiance opened one at the Duffield branch and they are amazing there the branch in Kingsport is a complete waste of time I warn every person to avoid going to this branch at all cost Absolutely terrible someone needs to fix them

  Love, love ECU!!! They have always display courtesy and professionalism with down home friendliness!! I would recommend them to all my friends and family! Please keep up the good job; everyone!!!

  I love Eastman Credit Union!! They have excellent customer service. I especially love their app, I love being able to deposit checks from home. Overall I would reccomend!!

  This place sucks. Theyre supposed to be trusted with handling our money but combined the whole office doesn’t have 5 brain cells. Also it takes 45 minutes to go through the drive though.
