  Such a pleasant experience refinancing my car with Ashleigh S here at ACFCU. Ashleigh was so helpful and thoughtful during the process, made it a cake walk to a lower payment each month!

  The individuals working at this credit union are disrespectful to it's members.. Everytime we go though the drive up window..we always get treated disrespectful..I wouldn't recommend banking here..

  I have been with this bank now for 1 year. Most of it has been with this COVID 19 time. I have to say this bank is doing very well through it. I have had no bad experiences. All of the tellers I have been to, have been super nice. Vanessa was the first employee there, that we met, who is always kind and friendly. This makes us wanting to keep our business there.

  I had previously submitted a review that had posted but it was since deleted. This credit union is horrible. We were referred to this credit union by a company that sells houses. We got a loan and then had to fight to get a copy of our loan paperwork from them. They are never available by phone and the ATM at their main branch did not work on two separate occasions. It did not seem to be out of order, it just would not take my card. No one was working at their drive-thru teller location either on two visits during normal business hours. No location in Bristol and had to use ATM's from drug stores. No ability to make deposits unless I drove to Gray. No one seems too care and the only person that did has left. We will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. We have since switched credit unions and will be done with this one later on this year once we are done paying off a loan. This is a one star credit union at best.

  If I could give Appalachian 0 stars, I would!! I’ve been a member for over 5 years and had all kinds of business with them including loans etc. We were 5 mins late getting to the bank to take some money out for the holiday and our debit cards weren’t working. We called customer service and (1) they swore up and down that my wife wasn’t on the account even though it’s always been a joint account, the checks are in our names, the debits cards, everything. The representative was hateful to my wife because she supposed wasn’t on the account. (2) we spent an hour on the phone with a second representative which was nice. He told us that the branch had fixed our debit cards and he made sure that my wife was on the account. We went to use our debit cards an hour later and guess what, they still don’t work. Call customer service and they tell me that my wife still isn’t on the account and there was a ticket to get our debit cards fixed. It’s now Thanksgiving and we have NO access to our money!! Appalachian is the worst bank we have ever done business with and we are moving banks ASAP. Thanks for ruining our thanksgiving

  I have been with this bank for over 10 years. They've had their issues over the years but I've stayed because they were located near my work and home. Now both locations near my home have thus closed. Also, just within the last 2 months, they debited the wrong checking account (twice) with payments I made then deposited my pay check into someone else's account, next they hung up/mis-transfered my call multiple times when trying to notify them of their errors. Boy Bye

  I called pretty much all the credit unions in the Tri-Cities Tennessee area but no one could match their professionalism the way they made me feel or their rates- thanks a million you know I will be recommending you everywhere I go

  The Kingsport branch does not know how to answer a phone. I typically have to call another branch and give them account numbers so get stuff down.
