  They get the extra star for the exceptional dividend they give for the end of the year. But everything about them otherwise gets a zero 🌟 star for knowledge of operations and customer service. The next generation has no skills. It’s like the 50 year olds have left with the keys and the new kids have no clue.

  No after hour support. I logged in to my account on the same and only device I use and was told I had to verify myself. I asked to be called and they did and gave me a code. I entered the code and they locked my account and told me to call 1800 number. I called at 730 and found out no one works after 5. I'm glad fraud only happens from 9am to 5 pm. I'm glad I don't need to know my balance or transfer money or pay for emergency expenses. Thanks ECU. If you want a actual banking institution go somewhere else

  Iv been with this bank 3 months and have had nothing but problems. I cashed a check from an establishment no issues, 3 weeks later try to cash another check from the exact same place they are thinking it’s fraud even though they’ve already cashed the exact same check before. It seems like the tellers pick and choose what they are gonna do for people and iv only had good luck with ONE teller there every time. I never had the issues with transactions pending or coming up as fraud with Wells Fargo. I’ll be closing this bank asap.

  My initial visit to ECU was to open a new account. I deposited a 30k plus check and was greeted promptly, opened the account and had good service. Based on that, my mother decided to move her banking business to ECU. Today, 11/05/2021 I reported to deposit a check into my mother's new account and a money order into my account. The process took 30 minutes and I was on my lunch break from work. the wait was not due to a line but to ECU personnel. I was ONLY making deposits. I was not withdrawing. So, any checks had time to clear or be verified if needed. I was treated to a 30 minute wait and ineptitude beyond belief from a "trainee" who started in August of this year. A supposed supervisor got involved but the entire process today has me wanting me to close the new accounts and find another bank that can handle a simple small deposit. Poor customer service.

  Not a good bank. I will be leaving this bank very soon. I applied for a loan after being with them for 2 1/2 years. The loan officer (who seemed to be very young ) woman who worked on my loan promised me she would return my call within 24 hours. I never heard from her again. Even after calling her and leaving a voicemail. Very unprofessional and rude. All she had to do was follow up with me and let me know approved or denied and explain the reasoning. She did not. I wouldn’t recommend this bank !!

  If I could rate lower than one star I would these people will steal from your account claiming it is for an insufficient funds even when you have a pending check in your account for $800 to increase your balance they will purposely not accept your check until they can charge you for an insufficient funds fee. Do not trust them and do not do business with them they just looking for a chance to steal and then say it’s your fault.

  A Credit Union that charges ATM fees to other Credit Union members, should be a bank not call themselves a Credit Union

  When my phone broke and could not access my ECU app. I tried the website, but I was asked to receive a Confirmation code. I had to receive it through my phone number, which is broken. So when I click to page for help told me to call a number. After calling this number. And trying to figure out how to change my number to call for the confirmation code, told me to go to the web site. Which yet again the website told me to call the same number. What is this loop hole, bug, or major Malfunction? Very Infuriating. I’ve never had a problem with this bank till this happened.

  We have had stellar service at ECU since day one. They are all courteous, helpful and professional and their service is quick and friendly. They have convenient hours, several convenient branch and ATM locations and are highly recommended - you will be glad you chose them!
