  DSLD was absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. Ashley Pope made the whole entire process seamless from start to finish. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She keeps you informed throughout the whole process and is always so willing to help with any and everything. The house came out great, just as I had expected. Kelly was also great to work with. Highly recommend!! 10/10!

  I'm not happy with this business. They are price gouging properties. I get you have to make a profit but over pricing housing is not what I call professional. I see it as taking advantage of people. I guess its legal to over price homes for your pocket. I will find someone else the next time I look or shop for homes.

  Something weird is going on in the mortgage department. They are pretending to hire people then ignore the person after scheduling interviews. Never seen it in my 20 years working. Hard to explain but it looks like they may be doing fake job entries or just totally incompetent not sure which but danger is advised using their mortgage team since the 2 leaders apparently cant succeed in basic phone calls or email timeframes they picked.

  I just built in the Rose Gardens subdivision next to Shenandoah Elementary. The process was quick and easy. They exceeded my expectations with the time and quality that I expected from a reputable home builder.

  Bottom line: DSLD is violating their own distributed rules and has engaged in shady business. DSLD offered specific homes and options to be purchased in the Victoria Meadows community. There were 18 different floor plans available. All were single story homes. After building a neighborhood full of single story homes a DSLD employee purchased a two story home and began construction within the neighborhood. This two story home also has options that were not available for anyone else. My wife asked when we were having our home built if we could have a tiled master shower, a waterfall shower head and a gas fireplace among other items in our home. We were told that these were not options available within Victoria Meadows and if we wanted those options we would need to look to purchase a home in a different area. Now, all of those options are being installed in the two story DSLD employee home. Furthermore, this home is in violation of the Article 5 Architectural Covenants para 5.1 which states.. "Because the Lots are part of a single, unified community, this declaration creates rights to regulate the design, use, and appearance of the Lots and Common Areas in order to preserve and enhance the Property's value and architectural harmony. One purpose of this Article is to promote and ensure the level of taste, design, quality, and harmony by which the Property is developed and maintained. Another purpose is to prevent improvements and modifications that may be widely considered to be radical, curious, odd, bizarre, or peculiar in comparison to then existing improvements". Clearly DSLD violated their own stated rules by building a home that is different from every other home. It is curious that there is only one two story home and it is owned by a DSLD employee. It is bizarre that the home is outfitted with options no one else had the option to use. Also, DSLD is currently in control of the HomeOwners Association for Victoria Meadows. They were supposed to transfer control to the residents when 70% of the homes were sold. That has already happened and yet there has been no communication about or from the HOA. It appears that DSLD has not wanted to hand over the HOA because they first wanted their illegal home to be built and not have the HOA as an available roadblock for residents. Every resident of the community is enraged at the building of this home. Every lot in the neighborhood now has a home built. It only stands to reason that DSLD is purposely suffocating the HOA in order to further their own agenda. Everyone in the neighborhood was forced to pay their HOA dues under the threat of legal action but we have been offered zero insight or transparency about what the HOA is doing. Additionally, DSLD utilized products with known issues to build/finish the homes. The floating wooden floor in my home separated and broke within a few months. The same issue occurred with my neighbors home. She was told by DSLD employees that it is a known issue with that material and that they stopped installing it. However, they repaired her floor and mine with more faulty material. I was not told the same information that she was. If this material is known to be faulty why would DSLD not completely replace the flooring instead of attempting to repair it?

  Love my DSLD home! I love that I didn't have to hand select everything. I was given options to choose from and they put it all together.
