  BEWARE!!!!! Absolute worst customer service and account maintenance I have ever dealt with. I'm a business owner and have never experienced such poor service. They recently bought out my mortgage and since it has been nothing but torture.... I had a flood in my house right before the buy out and have not been able to get funds allotted for the repairs from my ins co sent to me for well over 6 weeks now. I have torn down walls, ripped up floors, cabinets falling apart and they keep telling me that their waiting for paperwork and can not send the next reimbursement. I tried to get a manager on the phone and am told that Managers don't take calls that I can leave a message... Have left numerous messages and none have been returned. No-one is able to help or give me any answers as to when the mid way payment will be sent or when they will get all the necessary information that is needed for payment. PLEASE THINK VERY LONG AND HARD BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY. IT WILL ONLY HURT YOU AND YOUR INTEREST IN THE LONG RUN. If anyone knows of any one that can help me please let me now Still waiting for a payment and it's been over 9 weeks!!!!

  The Process was fast and the staff was always available to answer any questions via email or telephone. Fast and friendly service. I was pleasantly surprised to experience this level of customer service given today's unprofessional climate. Working with Ditech was a breath of fresh air.

  Doesn't look like it's possible to leave a NO star rating..I was forced to put one star. By far one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. Customer service reps are rude. They are not willing to help anyone...would rather send you to collections for a measly $400 (that is being paid) or foreclose on your house. If my primary mortgage ever gets sold to them, I will NOT be happy!!!

  I had a somewhat complicated loan and the staff at Ditech resolved the issues quickly and efficiently. This allowed me to close in a very short time period. In addition, they gave me a great rate with low costs.

  The customer service is exceptional. Most of the experiences I've had with the "1800" numbers for financial companies have been negative and this experience was so much different. The agents are professional and helpful.

  Amazingly super easy refinance. Excellent communication throughout the entire process. Done 100% via online secure website and closing at my home. Couldn't be more easier. Highly recommended and if I ever need another loan I know where I am going.

  The process of refinancing my loan with Ditech was seamless and easy. Everyone from internal employees to their outside contractors were all professional and helpful.

  I was asked if I would like to refinance, and I emphatically replied “no! No! NO!!!. The “customer service" person put me down as a“yes" anyway. Had my payment put into their “funds in suspense" corral, and was of course assessed a late fee. They then placed the fee into the “corporate advance balance" corral, which must be paid (according to them) before any additional money can be applied to the principle. They clearly want to fee and penalize the hell out of their unfortunate customers. And this is only one example of many! Avoid, avoid, avoid.

  Worst company ever. Each time a made an extra payment to the principal they did not apply it correctly and they had to make me call them at least two times. They are always applying the money incorrectly making you fall behind on payments. Then you call them to ask for an explanation that how can you fall behind if you have an automatic payment and they have no answer, only that they will look into it. If you dont pay attention you will start paying late fees like crazy.
