  If you're planning on using this company dont work with Jacqulyn Kagan. She speaks to clients with condescending voice and not willing to work on you if she knows she won't get a lot of money from you. We also saw her in People's court show and she declare herself on national tv that she is a gold digger. Overall, she is very unprofessional and seems very greedy. Work with another loan officer but not with her

  This company is incompetent and a total disaster. Don’t even think about dealing with these people. They don’t return phone calls or emails and you will definitely be late on your closing because nobody can do their job.

  This review is for Denise Weaver NMLS #594388, home-buying is a stressful process. She has been helpful, very thorough and communicates with my wife a I. Every time I call she picks up and responds to my email same day. I switched lenders Becuase my last lender never replied to me or picked up. Denise explains things well and she will make sure everything is in order. I’m happy I heard about DHI and met Denise. It’s hard to find people that you can trust these days let alone depend on to be open and honest with you. I’m very honest and I will recommend Denise. Most of these reviews on the company are bad and mention bad communication but I haven’t had any of those issues. Thank you Denise

  I had the pleasure of working with Britt Fischer. She was great! The process took about 4 months & she was consistent throughout. All of my calls & emails were answered in a timely manner. She made me feel like I was her only client! I also had the pleasure of working with Glenycia Bixby throughout the process. She was great! Very consistent & great communication. We got pictures weekly & phone calls here & there to give us any updates or just check in on how we’re doing :) I closed on Friday & it took hours because there were errors in my documents, however, I was not left in the dark about anything. Stacee Dhiel & her team were great. I stepped out for lunch & came back to sign the last paper they were getting corrected. Overall, I had a great experience throughout these 4 months! The only bump I hit was on closing day which, but here I am in my new home! Thank you to everyone who helped us throughout our journey!

  I am very satisfied with the service I received from DHI. From beginning to end. As a first time home buyer, I didn’t know what to expect through this process. I’ve always heard horror stories about how excruciating the process can be. I must say that I had a great experience! I worked with loan officer, Ms.Stella D. and towards closing, loan processor Ms.Carol R. Both very knowledgeable and responded to my concerns in a very timely manner. I am beyond grateful for the experience that I had.

  14MAY2020. Today should of been my closing date however it was not communicated to me that it was pushed back due to Joseph Alford IV "dropping the ball" on the mortgage process for our loan. I am a first time home buyer and I was using my VA backing for a home loan to purchase a house out near the Tampa area. Moving across country from California, everyday that goes by adds up costs and due to the mortgage loan officer's lack of communication and submitting forms in a timely manner, I am still without a home and now short over $5000 due to his negligence. Throughout the process, I felt that I was more the loan officer than Joseph. The wife and I did our due diligence in sending all requested information in a timely manner all but once due to a bad internet connection. As of today, I am in contact with his supervisor and they are trying to sort this all out. I am deeply disappointed with this entire process and the time lost along with the stress of trying to correct all that this mortgage loan officer (Joseph Alford IV) has caused but at the end of the day, its his lack of professionalism and the knowledge of doing his job that has cost us what we can never recover. If you have other options for setting up a mortgage, I recommend you take them. This office will only disappoint you and make you work harder than you should. 21MAY2020: Jaclyn and Michael's speedy and efficient work, even when I was being fairly stern with them, recovered all the mishaps by Joseph and made the process a lot smoother. They worked for us and communicated much better than their colleague. I am raising my rating to three stars. They made it as right as they could. 24MAY2020: Update to explain the situation further. The mortgage is currently sitting at the back of the list in underwriting while Mike Setzer doesn't seem to have a reason to communicate with us further. Communication is key in any process involving something as serious as a mortgage loan. Lacking professional leadership directly above the last guy (Joseph Alford IV) and I understand he has more responsibilities than just making sure one customer is satisfied but I am still a customer. Hear me out; This process should of been treated more carefully. Absolutely terrible mortgage loan office. Says a lot about the leadership. 05JUNE2020: The day we finally closed, three weeks later. If it wasn't for Jaclyn Denise Molina (excellent worker out of Texas), I would of dropped this account, paid back the incentive, and went with someone else. The Tampa Office of DHI Mortgage (and Title) really need to be re-trained on the communicative aspects of their job. Customer Service and Edicate would also be beneficial since their passive aggressive responses only display their lack of professionalism further. They refunded me their mortgage fees (all $975) but it should of been more.

  I had the pleasure of having Stella Diniz as my loan officer. She was amazing!! Very responsive and on top of things. She worked overtime on my file and had such a positive attitude. Highly recommend!! Stella, thank you for getting my family and I into our new home! ❤️

  DHI Mortgage was top notch. We had the pleasure of working with Mark Ross and Celeste Gonzalez. Mark went above and beyond and made us feel as though we were his only client each time we talked to him. Celeste is an amazing processor and on top of things. I highly recommend.

  I wish I would of read these reviews before giving my information to this company. Brittany Fischer was my loan officer and was very unprofessional! This was our first time trying to buy a house. When we had questions I felt like she didn't have time or she thought our questions were stupid. She was very uninterested.. not only that, she accused my fiance of money laundering because she deposited money into her account ( she is a waitress and brings home cash tips) She has had all my information for two months and four days before closing decides to tell us they can't give us a loan on a house. If I could give ZERO stars I would. #BewareOfBrittany

  DHI Mortgage Temple Terrace, FL was an absolute pleasure to work with. They were professional, pleasant and very easy to work with. They took the time to assist with the process along the way. I highly recommend this company. Monica Wiggins and Ferdinand Frias were absolute treasures to work with. 5 stars all the way.
