  This bank gets negative stars despite the fact I can't actually do that. They have provided nothing but issues for me and my girlfriend. I went in today to cash a check, and the teller refused to cash the check without 3 signatures. I've had checks made out to multiple people before and cashed them no problem so I do not understand the issue, nevermind that one of the necessary signatures requires me to mail the check across the country and back. I will soon be closing out my bank account with this credit union and be giving my business to someone else. I strongly recommend banking with another company if your looking for a company to bank with.

  We are extremely happy with DFCU and especially Lynn Winegart! We became Executors of a friend's estate and suddenly had to set up an estate account, with all that involves. Lynn could not have been nicer, more patient or more professional in helping us through the whole process! It took coordination with us, her legal dept., and even credit reporting agencies to finalize it... and she never once was impatient with our repeated questions! As a result, we are maintaining not only an estate acct at her branch, but also a personal account!

  Daniel was wonderful, but your receipts are very hard to understand. It didn't look like I'd made a deposit into my sons' accounts. Since I was making transfers and deposits for four of us it was confusing. Your system needs to be easier to understand by those of us who are not bankers.

  I deposited my paycheck and I'm being told that I won't have any money until the 11th of July. That's 17 days from now. So you're telling me that I can't get gas, pay my phone bill or get groceries for 17 days? I'd rather close my account and go with a bank that won't screw me over.

  I have had the same bank for 25 years and have never been happy, except for how wonderful the app was. However, I finally made the plunge and went to Desert Financial after I heard such good things. Walking in a was breath of fresh air. It was simple and clean. Everyone was friendly and looked happy to be there. Krystal helped us open a couple of accounts, answered all of our questions and navigated everything with such ease. I’m glad we switched.

  Banks usually aren’t that much fun to go to. More than once there was always some weirdo money situation we weren’t prepared for when the teller says Did you know... Well for the first time ever I have found a bank that cares. Care is a big word. It implies they have an investment in our lives and want the very best for us. I do believe this place does exactly that. The staff are friendly and anytime we need something extra they actually help us. They work things out in a way so we understand what was going on and also what we can expect going forward. There is one teller in particular, Nichole, she is awesome. We have had many interactions with her and she is always stellar and we are thankful she works at this branch.. Overall, this bank has your back. It’s a great place an we trust them; I would recommend them to anyone.

  Just became a member with this bank, unfortunately my experience is horrible. If you plan to open an account here, don’t! They hold your check for 9 business days just because is a “new account” that is the most pointless and ridiculous way to welcome you. That policy needs to change! We don’t have 9 days to wait for our money! Are you going to pay my bills in the meantime?! I never experienced this even at the worst banks.

  I've been a member of Desert Financial Credit Union, formerly Desert Schools, for many years, but the staff at the 7th St and Union Hills branch has brought their service to a whole new level. They are at the top level of any banking facility I've ever dealt with and being an old goat, that includes a lot of banks across our country! They are the epitome of professionals and absolutely make everyone that walks through their doors feel welcome and appreciated. All the qualities you could hope for in a banker, are at this branch and genuinely care about your financial needs. I simply can't say enough good about them. If you have any need of the services offered by all the banks, stop in here and let them show you why, and what they'll do to help you that makes them stand out. I highly recommend them to everybody. A great place with amazing people to do business with.

  Amazing first experience, went in hoping to open a checking account and ended up getting a lot more done! Service was friendly and GENUINE unlike other banks I’ve experienced. Definitely recommend

  It appears my main bank of many years has limited their staff and there are long lines, lengthy waits. I am fortunate to be a member of DFCU and especfially appreciate the staff at the Union Hills branch. The staff is courteous/friendly/compoerntent, without long lines. I have rarely had to wait for any length of time. It is my intent to remain a lifetime member.
