  Obtaining or refinancing a mortgage can be one of the most stressful things a person can do until you find a company like Deepwell Funding. That was the experience my wife and I had with Richard Hunt and Seth. Richard is a very knowledgeable and caring person who was available to answer any and all questions we had, and more than that, he put our minds at ease, relieving our stress. We received excellent service with our refinance. The process was a lot faster than we expected and closing was a painless experience. Noteworthy is that throughout the process, Seth was always there to lead us through any anxious period. Excellent service, excellent experience. Richard and Deepwell Funding met all our needs and we thank you from the depth of our hearts.   My experience with DeepWell Funding was EXCELLENT! I was very happy with Richard's level of customer service. He went over the loan in great detail and made sure I understood everything. I was beyond happy with the interest rate he got me. I will most definitely be referring DeepWell Funding to anyone I know looking to refinance.

  just closed on a refinance with Deep Well Funding. Rich Hunt was a pleasure to deal with. He was extremely professional and always available his team Seth always reach out to me with any and everything I needed . He personally moved the process along without any delays. I felt confident that he had my best interest at heart at all times. He alway went the extra mile whenever I had a question or concern. I would highly recommend reaching out to him if you are thinking of refinancing before talking to anyone else. Rich is fantastic.   Rich is very thorough. He helped me get out from under the thumb of the bank which was only applying $100 per month toward the principal out of the total mortgage payment and I could only pay extra when I made a mortgage payment. With the company that Rich got for me not only is my monthly payment lower by $400 a month but the term is shorter and I can pay down the principal whenever I want !

  We refinance our mortgage with Richard in January to take my deceased uncle off of our deed and loan. It’s been 7 months and I have not receive my new deed. I called the office numerous time, i spoke to Seth and Richard they both kept making excuses. l made 3 appointments with Richard that he never showed up for all I got was an email with my old deed an my deceased uncle still on it when I was promised a new deed. I can not believe how unprofessional those people are. Please take your Business elsewhere.

  Dear Lisa, As we discussed, a new deed was not required by the title company to insure the title. You provided the death certificate, which was sufficient to provide you with ownership because of the way the deed was initially written (i.e., joint tenants with rights of survivorship). I am not sure why you would want to incur the expensive cost of drafting and recording a new deed when there is no need to do so? You have a copy of the deed (which the title company sent you free of charge) and a copy of the death cert. These two documents will suffice in the future for any ownership questions you may face. We pride ourselves on customer service and have no negative reviews besides yours. You must take into consideration that we are not responsible for title decisions; we are a mortgage company. We do not regulate title companies and guidelines for NY deed requirements. Not sure why you would hold us responsible for this issue. Especially since no new deed was needed and everything is correct the way it stands. Furthermore, you were not charged a fee for a new deed on the closing disclosure. Nonetheless, I am sorry that you are not happy. I hope that you will eventually understand that no deed was needed and that you have all the documents you need in your possession.

  Richard C. Hunt Jr. has provided us an excellent service with our refinance. Not only it was a record breaking speed to close but he bent backwards to accommodate the few requests I made. Excellent service equates excellent experience. To Richard and Deepwell Funding, Thank you is not enough. To those who read my review, I encourage you to reach out to Richard when you have plans to refinance. Now is the time since interest is still at record low. I guarantee you an excellent experience that you will never get when you deal with a bank. Fast, smooth and a pleasant way of refinance. I gave 5 stars for Richard C. Hunt Jr.

  Richard Hunt was super personable and took care to meet my needs in refinancing my home. He only offered options that would meet my financing goals and that would benefit me both in the short and long run. In this day of technology it was very refreshing to meet the mortgage lender in person and discuss options without having any questions unanswered. The rate and costs were super reasonable, and the process very simple. My hands were held through the entire transaction and none of my questions or concerns were ever ignored. Deepwell Funding will be my lifelong mortgage lender!
