Brittany Williams5My experience at this location was great. I called the customer service number to see what branch in the area I was in provided on site debit cards and this location is 1 of the 5. I had no clue that this location even existed. I was a little intimidated initially because they have these bullet proof glass doors at the entrance that are also equipped with metal detectors. Let me help you picture this. So you walk up to the door and you open it and walk through the metal detector. There's a tray for you to place any metal items in. All the while there is a red light indicating that you cannot pass through the second door just yet. Yes there are two doors. Once the green light displays which I think is controlled by the receptionist at the front desk, you may enter. The young lady at the receptionist desk and the teller counter were nice and knowledgeable of my needs. There was only one teller on duty but I am sure that was due to it being lunchtime. There were however how 3 account representatives available which is good for someone who needs that service. As you leave, you have to go through the same process but in reverse. You exit the initial door and it lets you know that the second door will open in 30 seconds. I mean I get the need for protection. Criminals are getting more desperate as the days go by and we all have lives and families that we want to go home to at the end of the day. I used to work for a bank myself so I understand that fear. As stated above, I had a great experience here and should I ever need to go back to this location, I will.

Sonya Fields1You would think with the lobby area close they would have all drive thru windows open and where are the tellers who bank lobby are close put them in the drive thru windows the drive thru window 3 hour wait just digusting Dade County Credit union do better. I understand doing these time we have to adjust but this ridiculous
Response from the ownerWe apologize for your experience. Due to Covid our lobbies are closed and our drive-thru is experiencing higher traffic than normal. You can do many transactions on our online banking and our mobile app including depositing checks. Our ATMs at every branch location accepts cash deposits as well. Frank Jewett5Today was my first visit to a credit union, I was not sure what to expect compared to a regular bank. I was met by a friendly receptionist who took my name, reason for my visit and told me there was one person ahead of me. She asked that I sit in a comfortable waiting area. In about 10mins, an associate, Kester- called my name, escorted me to a private office and even pulled out my chair at his desk. I was able to open a savings account. I was sold on applying for a zero interest for 12mos credit card with a $35,000. Credit limit, so I did that too. When leaving the receptionist was saying goodbye, calling me by name. I was so impressed I asked for the branch Manager, to give a parting compliment. He thanked me for my business and I noticed his name tag, FRANK, same as my mine- it's been a great day! Margeline Pierre1Customer service is by far the worst ever.... precautionary are not taken into consideration for your customers!!!! Drive thru should provide same services as lobby!!!! Not everyone wants to be in the lobby!!! Especially when you have to stand in a line outside as it drizzle!!!! I’m sooo disappointed in their customer service its ridiculous but that’s nothing new!
