Everyone is complaining about the virtual teller. The virtual teller is fantastic. I don't have to interact with someone if I don't want to and the machine does almost anything I need for 99% of my transactions. When I need to talk to a real person they are extremely helpful. I always have access to my money and there is no waiting. Highly recommend this company. If you ever need help over the phone they are very easy to work with and quick to resolve your issue. You should ignore the complaints about the virtual teller if you are anyone who knows how to use a computer like everyone these days should. People complaining about the virtual teller need to get there head out of the past. Times are changing and this is a great change.

Probably the worst banking experience I've ever had. I purchased a Motorcyle and decided to put a chunk onto a loan to build credit. Issue after issue with these people. Their online portal for some reason can't work with T-Mobile phone numbers so I couldn't even access my account without calling in to ask for the generate pin code each time, on each device. That hid from me the fact that for the entire course of the loan they have been charging me extra for insurance (I already have insurance on it) with the promise of fixing it, but have yet to reach a resolution. Their support team has taken months to get nowhere despite my constant follow up and request to be transfered to somebody else or get in contact with a supervisor. I feel like they could not care less about me as a customer. Posting this here in the hopes that somebody out there in the universe will save themselves the hassle of ever working with Cyprus. I've used 4-5 other Banks for loans in the past and each has been a pleasure to work with. Save yourself the trouble and go to Uccu or Utah First if you want a good credit union.

This is an electronic branch that some people may be avoiding. I say don't be afraid to use this location. The kiosk used to complete the transaction with tellers somewhere else in the valley is very user friendly and the fewer employees are there to help you learn the new way of banking. Good times!

      Response from the owner

Hey Myron, first, thank you so much for your positive feedback and for taking the time to leave this review. Improving the lives of our members and the community is our top priority, and your input helps us meet that goal. I was thinking of finding a local credit union because fewer and fewer credit unions are doing shared banking with other credit unions. According to my company credit union, Cyprus is still doing shared banking - but not from the drive up window! You’ve got to get out of your car and go inside to the back of the lobby where there is basically what amounts to a person in a closet that can do shared banking. Really?! The drive-through and the lobby are just kiosks with virtual tellers. While I was inside, I watched a dozen people struggle with the kiosks. Everyone of them needed assistance from the lobby greeter. How is this convenient to the customers when it takes longer to do transactions? It’s a cost cutting measure to ensure more profit, not help the customer. I’m willing to accept a large degree of automation and kiosks in my life, but when it comes to my money at a local branch? Nope. I wouldn’t bank here on a bet.

      Response from the owner

Hi Brett, we are sorry to hear that you had to deal with that. We would like to do our part to make it right. Would you mind emailing [email protected] with some insight into what the issue involved and your contact information? We hope to hear from you soon and look forward to finding a solution for you.

The people were super nice but I absolutely hated the virtual process that they had in place at this location.

      Response from the owner

Hi Jessica, we really appreciate you taking the time to give your honest opinion. We have passed your feedback along to the branch so they can improve in the near future.

Did the virtual teller here, and it was horrible the virtual teller machine cannot do nearly what an actual teller can do and when I went inside there was no teller to help me. If this is the way of the future for Cyprus they are going to lose a lot of people if they don’t give people the choice between having a human teller and a virtual one.

      Response from the owner

Hi J, we are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our virtual teller machine. Were you unable to connect with a live teller or speak with a branch employee? We would love to hear what kind of transaction you weren't able to complete with the teller machine and how the branch employees could have helped so that we can improve in the future. If you could send your comments and concerns to [email protected] we would greatly appreciate it.

I would recommend coming here if you need a bank account, they let me have my funds a day early when I set up an account, and they are very polite and respectful. I love coming here to get money and I will definitely keep an account here.

      Response from the owner

Hi Rebekah, thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We appreciate you and your continued support.

I came in to ask about refinancing our van. They connected my with somebody over the phone, did a hard credit inquiry, and then told me they would have to call me back the next day. I never heard back.

      Response from the owner

Hi David, we are so sorry to hear you've had to deal with that. Would you please send us an email at [email protected] with your contact information a more detail on what happened so that we can put you in contact with the right people? We look forward to speaking with you soon.

The virtual teller is such a bad idea . I always looked forward to face to face human interaction and now it's just frustrating and impersonal. Hope this is not the future of cyprus or I will be doing business elsewhere

      Response from the owner

Hi Nicole, thank you for your feedback. One of our managers will be reaching out to you directly to discuss your experience further and see what we can do to improve. We hope you have a great day.
