  Love the fun team of ladies at this salon. My husband and I had the pleasure of getting Christmas Eve pedicures from Barbara and Erin and we had a great experience. Barbara has been in the salon business for many years and is very involved in the community, so it was a treat to get to talk to her and hear a bit about the area from a long time local. Erin and Megan were also working and very friendly. Pedicures turned out perfect! Highly recommend! Thanks for the Christmas treat, Ladies!

  I have been going to Cutaway for if not 20 years, it has to be close. Barbara is always friendly and welcoming. Me, I just get my hair cut, no wash, styling, or even a blow dry, so she certainly won't get rich with me going in there. I have suggested friends and new residents in the area.

  I think they closed that place down every time I pass by it it was under construction and so I never bothered to stop by ever again I might have to stop by this time the haircuts are okay

  Megan was amazing bleaching my hair her and Missy both talked to me and was very amazing. But the owner on the other hand wasn't very nice at all. I had an issue with my nail from another place asked if they could just take the old nail off she was very unprofessional about the whole situation and then acted kinda ugly towards the end of the visit.

  I love this place! I have great anxiety going to new hairstylists, but I've been to 3, at Cutaway, and they were all fantastic! The atmosphere is relaxing and the location is perfect. As a bonus, the property adjacent to this business, is the perfect setting for taking exceptional bluebonnet pictures in the spring!

  I called on a Tuesday and set up an appointment for a Friday morning at 9. I was there at 8:50 so I wouldn't keep the stylist waiting. At 9:15, the stylist still had not even arrived at work, so the receptionist called her. She had "overslept" but said she could get there in 10 minutes, or so. We all know that a "be there in 10 minutes" is more like 20 minutes (minimum) by the time she got ready for work and drove in. I was told there was an appointment for her at 9:30, as well, so basically she would have been double booked by the point in time she actually showed up for work. I wasn't about to have my haircut rushed through because she was not being responsible and getting to work on time. The receptionist told me she could schedule me for the next morning. I declined and I won't be back. I shouldn't have to be squeezed in someplace because the stylist "overslept", especially since I had been responsible and set up an appointment 3 days earlier. I went down the road, walked into a salon, and got a great haircut. Emergencies happen and I have zero problems rescheduling then, but irresponsibility isn't an emergency and my time is worth something so wasn't about to reschedule, or go back for that matter.

  Traveling through the area and needed a trim.... discovered this gem!!! Missy was so wonderful and patient with me. She sat down with me to see exactly what I want. The cut/trim is perfect and the highlights are fantastic. Go see Missy... you won't be disappointed.

  Very inviting, different bits of merchandise displayed as well as a good selection of hair care products. Salon was clean and comfortable. Excellent brow wax and haircut.

  Julius is a rock star! As a full-time RV traveler, finding good haircuts out on the road can be a challenge. But in small town Lakehills, TX, I found the exception. JULIUS! He is amazing! He totally gets it. With a few comments about what I wanted, he cut and styled my hair to perfection. I am an average looking person, but after my cut and blow dry from Julius, I felt like a movie star! And he's fun to chat with about this crazy world.
