  If you're going to buy a new home or refinance, Michael and his team at loanDepot are your people! Not only is the team excellent, but the online portal makes uploading documents and communication quick and easy. The team themselves are knowledgeable, experienced, professional and helpful. Michael deserves an award for his customer service as we threw a million questions at him and he always took extra time to discuss answers thoroughly, showing his depth of knowledge and his dedication to the client. Not only this, Michael took the time to understand our overall real estate and financial goals so that we could make the best decisions. We never felt rushed or pressured and the process, even during COVID, was smooth. In fact, the best part is that the whole team are all-stars who treat you like VIP's.   Michael B Stowers, the loan officer was really who I mostly dealt with and every time I texted him, he was ON IT!! I believe I worked with the processor once. Just a quick easy loan. Your web site is amazing from start to finish. I helped another friend refinance their home, and it WAS NOT EASY! It took a bit longer, but the time frame was reasonable. Again Michael B Stowers and team were amazing. Note, there are two Michael Stowers. The other is my loan officers father and I understand he is also awesome.

  Awful, worst experience ever especially sense this was my first time buying a home nothing was explained as far as options or many types of loans and programs that would be available to help with down payment and closing cost. I’m an essential worker and asked about anything that may apply to help since we are in this covid pandemic. I wasn’t even asked or talked to about how long I wanted to have the loan for the loan officer just put me in a 30 year. I honestly felt like I was just a number and rushed through the process and on to the next potential client. I’ve already been asked what my experience has been like and I tell everyone if I could do it over I would take my business elsewhere... I wish I could have been able to write a great review but honestly like some many others buying a home for the first time it’s a life commitment that may turn into opportunities but if it doesn’t at the end of the day it’s my hard earned money and I want to feel as if the amount of money being paid to the Realitor, loan officer, underwriter and anyone else who’s hand is in the pot taking thousands of dollars added to the overall loan not including upfront cost not explained you needed I feel as if the red carpet should be rolled out and time should be given to go over and explain everything necessary in detail to make me feel comfortable and less worried about buying or is this the right decision at this time to be buy. The amount of money being charged for the minutes or few hours of work seems more of a ripoff then a deal they try and tell you. It’s the nature of the business in buying a home and more honest reviews need to be written in order for this industry to change and be regulated to be fair. People might say if I had the opportunity to elude people and swindle thousands of dollars from people every day to have a comfortable and lavish lifestyle would I do it. My simple answer would be no. This business is no different then the scammers calling you telling you your vehicle warranty has expired from some county overseas or that you won some money in a random sweepstakes and need to send them money in prefer to get it. This way just happens to be legal in the housing industry and is accepted. They don’t even deserve a star but in order to post you have to select one. Lame rating system they should have a negative star
