Paul Oja1They charge you international fee of 1% for every transaction. I started to travel a lot and you will get hundreds of dollars of fees. SF Fire CU, which I was a member before moving to LA. They NEVER charged for any ATM anywhere in the world. I thought credit unions were customer oriented and not like big banks with these fees. I am going to close my account. Also, had a main branch closed for lunch. Talked to the regional manager and he was rude, impatient and said he couldn't staff his branches. Really? Who closes at lunch when everyone is trying to come and do business when working? They had a line outside the door with upset clients. Not impressed at all with this institution. These are only the bigger issues.

We apologize for any inconvenience due to the lunchtime closures--it was something we implemented temporarily. As of January, we have reinstated our normal business hours. Regarding the international ATM fees on debit transactions, these fees are passed through Visa. We're happy to discuss solutions with you in more detail though. Jordan Louis2Poor customer service. 3 times indicated call back would happen within 48 hours and no representative ever did. First experience with credit union and likely last. Past is prologue. Also terrible banking app interface. Janky and rudimentary. Taking banking elsewhere where I am appreciated.

Chau Quach1Tried to use the “24 hr” atm but it is inside a locked door that you swipe your debit card to open. Of course the door doesn’t open even when I swipe ten different times. I’m terrified the outside door card reader just stole my debit card info.

It sounds like the swiper may have been malfunctioning. We are testing the swiper to ensure it's working properly. Please also rest assured that the debit card swiper does not store debit card data. Amy Liozza3The ATM at the Kinecta Santa Monica location was out of order when I was there last Saturday--the Diebold guys were working on it. So I had to go to Woodland Hills at night, so I decided to stop here to make my deposit. This Kinecta has a great location and simple parking. It's near my favorite stores like REI, Costco, and across the parking lot from Panini Grill. (Get the Chicken Kabob with Brown Rice.) I gave them only 3 stars (OK) because their ATM at this location really needs updating. It's one of the ancient ones from Diebold--you know--the type we were using back in the 1800's. I put my debit card in and then nothing happened for 20 seconds. I started getting nervous. Then the screen said that I put my card in the wrong way. Okay...so just give the card back to me. Nothing happen after that. I waited and waited and it was not giving me my card back. 30 seconds past by (that's along time to wait at an ATM) and nothing. So I started pushing the "cancel" button. Nothing! I was getting really concerned that it was not going to give me my card back--it was taking way too long. What was the problem. Then after 45 seconds the screen now asks me to enter my PIN. I enter the PIN and it's all of sudden working--it no longer has a problem with the way I put the card in?
