  Okay, so you want to buy a piece of real estate. You can go to a bank or to a mortgage broker or to a funding company like Credence. There is a difference. Often it comes down to hassle: How much work you have to do in order to get your loan. Now, in some cases, there are rules that must be followed. But in many cases, a company who has creative underwriting can make the process much less stressful to the client. In addition, the personnel who process the loan and deal directly with the consumers are very important because they can make the ordeal much easier or harder especially on clients who are not very knowledgeable in the mortgage game. All that said, I personally have closed on five mortgages in the past 24 months and I think I understand the nuances of buying a piece of property. And furthermore, I will categorically state that Credence Funding Corp. has met my “Big Three Factors” with 5 stars each. Factor One: HONESTY, Patrick Phillips, my Credence mortgage broker, never made a statement that was either untrue or even questionable in terms of fairness. Factor Two: LOW RATES, You should always shop around when you are looking to borrow a large sum of money, just as you would if you were purchasing a new car. No other bank or lending institution was lower than Credence when I was shopping. Factor Three: SPEED, Credence processed my loans in an unbelievably short amount of time…in one case it took me three weeks, if my memory serves me, from start to finish. Bottom line, I am giving Credence Funding Corp. a 5 star review because I truly believe they have earned it. And, obviously, I strongly recommend them to others.

  Erika was an amazing partner. She consistently followed up to ensure we were aligned with the progress of our loan. You are very fortunate to have someone on your team who truly cares about the homeowner and ensures they are happy throughout the entire process. Erika responded to emails even when she was off the clock - which was over and above what my expectations would be. I would rate Erika and Credence as a 10+. ( She deserves a raise!)

  I work with Credence Funding everyday as I work for a title company. They have competitive pricing, very thorough and great communication throughout the loan process. I deal with many other lenders but I will use Credence Funding when I need a loan. They are that good!

  I contacted Pete at Credence about refinancing. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and got me a very low rate saving me money. Thanks Pete. Unfortunately the person who closed out our refinance did not have our copies and said she would bring them to us the next day. A week later I emailed Pete to advise him we had not received our paperwork and he sent me an email with an attachment for 182 papers for me to print. So moral of the story don't let them leave without your copies or buy a pad of paper and some ink if you want them Still no copies
