  I don’t know where to start but I will start by saying ! Richard and his team are not the same as any other lender ! I honestly had given up on our home . I was denied from other lenders and neglected for 10 months ! The lenders wasted our time. I was referred to Richard 3 weeks before closing date . Richard and his team made it happen in 3 weeks !!!!! They were a blessing from heaven . We are so happy to say we received our keys yesterday for our dream home . thank you Richard a million times ! You didn’t give up on us . Marci and Darryl Marshall

  I bought my first house with Cornerstone Home Lending. With the guidance and knowledge of Richard Haskell and his team, I closed on it smoothly and timely. I’ve only owned it for a couple of weeks and have already shared my great experience with friends and family. Richard navigated me throughout the home-buying process, was welcome to answer all my questions, responded to them promptly and was very informative. He was both friendly and professional.   My experience with Cornerstone started out good. Everyone was very responsive and did an great job making it easy to get the preapproval letters written any time of day. Once we got into closing, the communication fell off. I would receive emails instead of phone calls requesting time sensitive documents and felt very pressured when I couldn’t get the documents uploaded during working hours. The phone app is completely useless so I had to wait until I got home to upload the documents. I feel that between the phone app not working, which preventing me from getting the underwriter documents quickly, and the poor communication via email at random hours (late night emails requesting documents next day), Cornerstone added a lot of stress to an already stressful process. The icing on the cake is that the closing documents were messed up, and it was not caught until the day of closing when we had remote closed days before. This forced my fiancé and I to drop what we were doing at work and figure out how to print and sign the revised document (required me to get an exception for conducting personal business at work) since the document required wet ink instead of a digital signature.

  The Cornerstone Team did an exceptional job helping us become homeowners. They were very diligent and thorough throughout the entire process. They answered all our questions and made sure any concerns we had were taken care of. They were all very friendly and caring at all times. I HIGHLY recommended using them for your home buying needs!

  I am a first time home buyer so I was somewhat clueless of the entire process. Richard and Maury helped me and explained everything to me in a way where I could understand what was needed. They made sure I got all the documents needed in a timely manner. They went above and beyond their duties. Thanks to them, I was able to close on my house as scheduled!   Richard was always available. He had to deal with a family member of mine that was very difficult at times and he was professional and patient. He explained everything I didn’t understand. I will absolutely recommend Cornerstone and Richard HASKELL to everyone I meet who is looking for a lender.
