  The Mason Group at Cornerstone Lending helped us to buy a home while we were living in another state! Our realtor referred us , and we were so pleased to have them help us. Getting a mortgage/ purchasing a home long distance is an extremely stressful time, but everyone who worked w us at The Mason Group was extremely competent, patient and personable, even dealing w our lack of technical skill and all-over-the-place drama!   I love the team at Cornerstone because they consistently put their money where their mouth is. Their communication, tools, and programs combine to make the buying experience as stress free and competitive as possible in this market. We never had to worry about where we were in our transaction. Every step came with an update via email or video text, often both. When we reached out, answers came quickly, even on weekends. They offer a tool that allows you to customize your pre-approval letter for every offer you make. The convenience of this cannot be overstated in a market where submitting offers at short notice is the norm. It’s a huge time saver and allows you to take care of business during non-business hours. Their Power Purchase Certificate is a huge advantage when competing with cash buyers. We didn’t end up needing the 10-day close but it sure was nice to have that in our back pocket. It’s a great way of presenting a “like cash” offer. There were no extra fees for this program besides an expedited appraisal had we needed it. That's a big difference from other “like cash” programs. Along with that, their Homes for Heroes program gives you a substantial credit at closing. Love it! Lastly, they leverage their social media to get their buyer’s needs in front of as large of an audience as possible and will call a listing agent to explain the strength of your financing to make your offer more enticing. They sincerely care about getting you into a home!

  First time working with Cornerstone and our experience with them was awesome! The entire process from start to finish was smooth. We were kept in the loop as our loan was processed all the way to closing/being funded. Kym and her team were very friendly and professional. They promptly answered our questions as they came up, which made us comfortable with the entire process. Highly recommend Kym Mason and her team! Update: Recently refinanced our loan and that went smooth. Another excellent experience! Highly recommend the Mason team.

  I highly recommend the team at Cornerstone Home Lending. If you're reading this review because you're looking for a finance team and haven't heard of this group or you're on the fence about whether you should put your trust in them, you can put your mind at ease - these guys are great! I finished my second refinance with Kym and her team in January 2021. The process was very easy and was expedited by electronic review of documents and the ability to digitally sign and submit them. This was especially appreciated during COVID contact restrictions. The staff kept me updated every step of the way and were easy to contact when I had questions. I have recommended them to several friends and would not hesitate to do business with them again.

  Working with Ariel to finance my home loan was a breeze compared to others. She provided personalized total cost estimates for every property I was interested in, and offered honest feedback as to which loan type was best for my situation. She was even able to faciliate my lending needs while I was out of town for work. Highly recommended for anyone looking to purchase a home in the Puget Sound area!
