  Cornerstone Bank was invaluable when I started my small business over 30 years ago, and has continued to offer helpful and courteous services.   Won't cash a check that's drawn on one of their accounts unless you have an account. Not even for a fee, not if you have 26 forms of ID, nothing. What's the reason they won't do this? "It's our policy to protect our customers." When I asked for clarification, I was put on hold, and the hold-music was a commercial for them. "The big banks act like they can't be bothered with your financial needs..." or something to that affect was the message that played. Ironic.

  Hi Mr. Koleas. In recent years, banks have seen an increase in fraudulent check activity resulting in substantial losses to our customers. To limit this risk, banks nationwide have found it necessary to institute more restrictive check cashing policies, like not cashing checks for non-customers. However, we gladly accept checks presented by customers of our bank. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

  in regards specifically to the menomonee falls branch. i have used the same loan officer a few times in the past not from cornerstone. he is great. i used to bank with m&i. when they became bmo i left immediately and came to cornerstone. due to the great cust service i didn't even call my usual loan officer this time for my refinance needs, instead i just came to cornerstone. the people here are absolutely wonderful to work with. they know my name and everyone is always happy to see the kids and i. even the people i only see here once a year or so remember me and are friendly. they take the time to help teach the kids how banking is done here. they have taken the time to get to know us and are always willing to chat about your day or share stories. they take our concerns into consideration and help me move forward with options. keep up the great work and i look forward to continue to be a cust. thank you.

  I wanted to thank Pat, Sonia, Underwriting and everyone at Cornerstone for the most uneventful loan process I have ever been through. You started with a great rate and low closing costs and followed it up with keeping all your promises, staying on schedule and closing on the date scheduled. No surprises! I'm a planner and a worrier. I plan for the worst case scenario but not one bad thing happened during this whole process. Pat was phenomenal, courteous, thorough and pleasant to deal with. I will recommend Pat and Cornerstone to everyone I know and even some I don't! Thanks again. I'm just so amazed (and happy!).

  Everyone I have ever dealt with at Cornerstone has been professional, friendly, and helpful. I requested a transfer just before 5pm on a Friday and the transaction was completed first thing Monday morning. Thanks Cornerstone Community Bank!!

  For over a year now, I have had the great good fortune to get to know, and work with, the expert staff and ownership at this gem of a bank. Everything that we expect from a locally-owned, community-centered bank has been brought to bare on the difficult process of helping my aging parents (and our family) navigate the complex Medicaid financial reporting process. Above and beyond does not even begin to encapsulate the deep and productive response - over and over - that Cornerstone has provided me - long distance, in Connecticut - and my parents who still live in Cedarburg. If I lived anywhere near this bank, they would have all of my business! If you live anywhere near Cornerstone, take my advice and connect with this singular financial institution.   Pat was awesome to work with. She knew the process, asked us only to provide the information needed, was professional and ever fun to work with! The process was quick, very thorough and totally painless. On top of that Cornerstones rates were much lower then anyone else we found. We would highly recommend Cornerstone!

  I love the personal interaction we have at this bank. I can merely call their phone number and immediately be connected with someone. There is no need to go through an automated system. They are always very helpful and friendly.
