  Absolutely horrible experience. Financed a car. Bank put 88,000 miles on title rather than 8,000. Started the correction process summer of 2021. As of writing this review, still not corrected (end of April, 2022). I contacted the Sec. State in IL to confirm whether there are delays due to COVID, they confirmed that no title change delay has lasted more than 2-3 months. I am going on almost a year now with this bank. Again, absolutely horrible experience.

  I have been with Consumers CU for 2 decades now. They have always provided great service. I just recently took out a vehicle loan for the first time in 7 years. Jackie P was great to work with and process was easy. Keep up with the great rates and services.

  I have had some bad experiences with Consumers credit union. There ATMs always seem to be broken and there are always extremely long lines in the drive thru on the weekend. I've been a loyal member for a long time and when I have a question it is so hard to get in touch with a live person and there chat is so useless.

  Terrible customer service. Have to hold their hand and babysit to get anything to happen. Celina is the worst part. Do not have her as your loan specialist. Will not do business with then again.

  Terrible business practice and terrible customer experience. Refinanced my car with CU and it took the person MONTHS to not only complete my loan after endless amounts of calls with no resolution. Javier offered me a credit into my new account for the trouble, but NEVER saw that credit. Now as I called to pay off my loan, they took out TWICE the amount that I had authorized them for the loan!!

  This Credit Union has the worst customer service. My husband and I contacted this company back in May. We were assigned to Nelly Rojas. Let me tell you worst costumer service. She’s only available to speak to Tuesday and Thursday’s between specific hours. We are constantly trying to get into contact with some one to check the status of our loan. We send out our signed paperwork back in June and have not heard from them in regard to our status. We called today to only find out something wasn’t filled out properly. Why is it that we have to constantly contact a company day in and day out with barely any response? Two months later even having our loan approved it’s still not even completed.

  I have been a member for over 30+ years, in the last 8 years the service has been terrible. Today, 4/26/21, I waited on hold for 15 minutes (question with home equity loan that they are changing payments to be made in NJ) just to reach a person (who was pleasant enough) from their call center to be placed on hold again for another 25 minutes and finally had to hang up because I had to leave for work. Still don't have my questions answered. This has been happening so much over the last 8 years and it has continually gotten worse in the last 2 years. They no longer are the helpful home neighborly bank. Can get higher interest rates with online banking with other banks/credit unions with better service. Sad to say all our families banking needs will be leaving Consumers within the next few months. Terrible service, will not recommend. They will be loosing over 15 members due to their poor service! Worst is I have let them know before posting this review and it's like they don't care because they will get other members!

  Your not getting that call back and when u wait long enough to get your turn your automatically hung up on so ur gunna get a late fee too.

  Terrible, inconsistent service. There is no inter-department communication. I made a terrible mistaking financing my vehicle through consumers, I don’t even want to utilize their services as a credit union because of how awful their service as been financing my vehicle. They need a facelift from the top down. Who can be held accountable for this poorly ran business?
