  Danielle was absolutely fabulous! I was in a situation which I was unsure if it would be in their area of expertise and reached out as no one else was giving solid suggestions to resolve my issues and move forward; Danielle listened carefully, chatted with other associates and came back with suggestions that are reasonable and allowed for a light at the end of the tunnel. I really appreciate that CCCS was here 7 years ago when I considered using them and now again when I was out of resources. Thank you so much and I'll sing your praises to everyone!

  I looked at quite a few firms 4 yrs ago, ccc had great reviews, then I heard their name mentioned at a social event therefore I decided ok , ccc will be the one that I will use. Well today I am debt free, their negotiating skills with creditors were incredible. When I would call with questions I would ALWAYS get a representative that was on top of their game who were also very personable and informative about the credit world. It was like talking to a neighbor or a friend. I will never have to use them again (fingers crossed) but please look closely at ccc of Rochester because they truly care about you. Thumbs up Ccc

  Tina went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue with a creditor. She knew exactly what to ask and made sure i understood everything that was going on at every turn. through the whole process i never felt confused or frustrated. I would recommend CCCS to anyone. worth every penny.

  I came to CCCS at a time when my credit card debt was finally beyond anything I could turn around on my own. Everyone I've ever spoken with at CCCS has been great with their time and always very responsive to my questions. I can't recommend them enough if you find yourself in a similar position. And the added storybook ending is that I completed paying off my debt! Thanks CCCS!

  I am dealing with credit card debt I acquired when I was younger and fell behind on- I've been avoiding dealing with it head on for years. My rep and I reviewed my income, budget, and debt, and figured out a solution that worked best. The process was quick and painless, and I am VERY satisfied with the solution we worked out. Thank you so much for your help, I feel like I can finally get out from under this mountain of debt. My rep was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very personable! I highly recommend CCCS.

  Had 3 different rep payees so far. One was ok, although would give a little attitude when asking her to do something as simple as sending me statements (she told me I really need to keep track of those things myself, but I can't see every little thing that goes on in there, since I am the client and not the rep payee). The 2nd one I had was VERY nice, VERY fast and professional, which is the ONLY reason I didn't rate this company a 1. She ended up having to leave after 1-2 months, I really miss her. The 3rd (and current) rep payee is really bad. It takes 1-2 weeks just to manage to contact him, and I will leave emails 1 or more times a day, and call one or more times a day, and to top it all off, he will forget things. Update: Things are a lot better now. My current rep payee is very fast, very good at helping me save money, HIGHLY recommended. So rating goes up to 5 :)

  Be very careful when using this program !.Any time that any debt is forgiven , you will receive a Form 1099C from the IRS.According to the IRS, if a debt is canceled, forgiven or discharged, you must include the canceled amount in your gross income, and pay taxes on that “income,” unless you qualify for an exclusion or exception. Creditors who forgive $600 or more are required to file Form 1099-C with the IRS.This means , YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY TAXES ON ALL THE MONEY THAT YOU HAD RENEGOTIATED FOR YOU BY ANY CREDIT AGENCY ACTING ON YOUR BEHALF.This is something that the credit counselors at CCCS of Rochester , DONT TELL YOU !. BE VERY CAREFUL !!!.

  Consumer Credit Counseling Services is an excellent business and will help someone reduce their credit card debt. They also offer other great services to help each client reduce their debt load and provide excellent credit building services. I highly recommend Consumer Credit to anyone who is in debt with credit cards as well as other personal debt. Tom
