  This bank does not know how to change to pull from a correct bank account. They keep pulling from a closed account and cost you more money to try to get it fixed. Don't go here unless you want to miss or have your payments all messed up.

  Probably one of the worst credit unions I have ever done business with. Poor customer service and monthly fees way above most other banks. Was a member for 20 years and the credit union started charging high monthly fees last year on a savings account without disclosing.

  I was recently informed that this company purchased my loan from Aqua finance the day after I got the loan, these people are a joke, $15.00 to make your loan payment, I paid my first payment and immediately refinanced the loan with a reputable bank that was not out to screw me over. They are very hard to reach and quite nasty to customers.

  We applied over the internet directly to this Lenders website on May 25th. We received one email (Automated) thanking us for the application the next day. I called on the 29th with them acknowledging me that they received the application and I would receive disclosures via Doc-U-Sign the next day. We did, signed them and sent them back. This was on May 31st. We have heard nothing from Connexus Credit Union since. When you call you can only leave a message, there is NEVER a live person to assist you. It is now June 6th and still no communication. How is this possible in the mortgage market we are currently in. I happen to be a veteran Mortgage Loan Officer and up to now, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered in 20 years!

  I have done my banking with Connexus for over 20 years. They have also helped me with house, condo, and car loans. The employees have always been friendly and supportive. I always felt they worked for my needs. Many times I have expressed my appreciation to them. I hope the service continues to feel like the great hometown institution it is.

  I had a loan through them because I got a rainsoft system installed and this is the bank rainsoft uses. Because of the loan I was forced to open a checking account with Connexus that I never used, not once. I paid off my loan but recently got a notification that I owe them $5.00 because of my account inactivity. HAHAHA! This is completely insane. They force me to open a checking account, and then charge me when I don't use it. There has to be a law against this BS. Unfortunately the rating system doesn't go below 1 star.

  I've been generally satisfied with Connexus. Have checking, savings, IRA, and home equity with them. They've been a lot better than working with a big bank (like Chase). Then, the first time I need a new debit card because it expired, everything has gone wrong. I started by requesting one 10 days before the month it expired. I kept asking for one as the month of its expiration ended. Five days after it expired, one was finally sent to me by regular 7-10 business day mail. It is now 15 days that I've not had a debit card and there's nothing they can do because it still might arrive the middle of next week. As someone who does all of my shopping online and has automatic grocery deliveries, not having a debit card has entirely disrupted my life. It really lowers my confidence in Connexus that something as simple as sending a new debit card is so difficult. And that they value their customers so poorly that they aren't willing to expedite mailing when it's clearly warranted.

  I have only done business with their loan department and from afar. But nowhere (except maybe USAA bank) have I experienced such top notch customer service to include a lady named Deb W., her supervisor, and another lady named Jen in the actual loans department. It literally felt like small town banking/ loans customer service (i.e. actual phones being answered by real and friendly folks) but with big banking results. My loan was approved at a lower interest rate and better terms than the nationwide competitors. I did not end up taking the loan, but sure will keep them in mind when I go for another!

  I hate Connexus. My credit is average. Always trying to improve it. I got stuck with two dealerships with Connexus. They will not lower my rate or work with me on lowering payments. I have not missed a payment in over 5 years. I don't wish my worst enemy on horrible Connexus. Stay away from them. They are evil!

  I was a loyal member of a local hometown CU in another state (not WI) when a few years ago Connexus performed what I understood to be a hostile takeover of my local CU. I was forced to become a Connexus customer because I had an outstanding loan. Every experience with Connexus has been bad. Very Poor customer service and always have felt like a number...not a real customer. I have left and will never return!
