Ladybug1I have been a member with CFCU for some years I love the staff Nicole is one of my favorites I recently apply for a loan when I applied for the loan they told me to make sure that I paid everything on time for 6 months I'm a person that pays all my bills on time none of my credit cards are late any loans I've had from the bank has been paid on time Myah was great through this whole process now this was a disappointing when it was actually time for me to get the loan they told me because of my courtesy pay something that the bank offers is why I didn't get the loan I make enough money none of my bills is late but because of courtesy pay is why I didn't get the loan I feel like cfcu was not loyal to me I feel like I don't want to recommend them to no one and I'm not!! why would I they didn't do me any favors they didn't help me out Helen the underwriter knock my loan down just because of courtesy paid everything was right all my bills paid I make enough money but because of courtesy pay I feel I was Racial profile and I would never recommend no one to get any loans or be a member at this Credit Union I hope in the future the credit union take a good look at these things because as a member of the credit union they did not help me .To me now there is no difference between the credit union and the bank. This was some BS !!!!

PLP5Community Financial Credit Union has great service and I highly recommend them. I recently did a mortgage loan there and everything went through like clock work. Keep up the great work CFCU

Steven Barber5i bank at the cfcu on 7 mile been with them for 3 years left to go to another credit union came back to cfcu so glad i did i wasnt happy where i gone too cfcu is one of the best credit unions out there i love the jingle also :)

Justin Sharkey1Been banking there awhile. Came into some hard times during the pandemic. And they denied me a small loan. Don’t see how something labeled as a emergency loan needs such high qualifications to get. If I had those. I would just get a credit card. They didn’t take care of me when I needed them. I’ll be closing my account with them and going elsewhere. I suggest people do the same.

Amanda Brown2The people at the bank are awesome, i do love that they make their own cards in house instead of waiting days to receive in mail. but when a direct deposit sits pending till after 9am on the day is supposed to be in and not cleared when its electronically put in isn't cool. Only bank i have ever dealt with that takes forever to clear stuff. Very slow at getting things done.

Mark Willis2For the last 3 months I have made deposits for my daughter. She was in a bad accident and I’m trying to help her. Every single time I come in, I have a horrible experience with the lady named Nicole. I called to verify that I could deposit without issue and her attitude made it seem like I was bothering her by calling. I also asked for change back including a roll of quarters after my deposit and you would think that I asked her to cut her left arm off!!!! I did get a different teller last time I was in, I’m not sure of her name, but she was to the left. (Longer blonde hair). She was so friendly and had helped me without issue....and SMILED at me. Because I got good service from someone else, it caused me to think about how horrible the other one is. The guy in the office (I’m assuming is the boss, NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING). How can he hear what happens and just sit there? Management needs to take action. From what I read on these other reviews, she’s made every experience horrible and needs to get a job where she doesn’t deal with people.

Brandon Whitehead5Very accommodating credit union! I had applied for a credit card and was approved and they were going to mail me one out. I needed to get one before I went out of town and went into this branch to see if I was able to get one sooner. The lady with the short blond hair helped me and was very friendly and was able to get me a brand new card in branch so I was not without one while I was on vacation.

When my wife and I were going through the loss of a child they even sent us a card in the mail sending their condolences, Everytime I walk in the have my account up and ready, and all the ladies are always smiling!! Best credit union ever!! 5 stars for sure, thanks you to all the employees that kept my family in their prayers during such a hard time!!

Rachel Hicks5Never had any issues with this credit union no matter which I go too! The girl with longer blond hair does always seem to be mad or maybe is just not a real friendly lady but other than that love they are closer to home.

Patty M5I love this credit union. I go to the one in Livonia on 7 mile. They are so friendly & helpful. They are very patient. They will sit with you and explain everything & then sum. The only complaint I have is, I wish they would open a Community Financial CU in or near Redford Township.
