      Difficult to reach personal banker. After 20 minutes with call center trying to transfer, spoke with someone directly about a safety deposit box. They verified they had one. Headed there 45 minutes prior to their closing, only to be called back and be told it was inconvenient as it takes 30 min. I arrived 40 min prior to closing. I then drove to the branch on 45 hwy. where I found an extremely helpful staff. The entire process including my time securing valuables took 15 minutes total. I had no idea being a current customer of a branch was such an inconvenience during business hours by branch at 5801 Barry.

      I would give them 5 stars if I didn't have so much trouble with my debit card. The automated service is terrible and the minimum 25 minute wait to even talk to the "security team". I understand the importance of the security...to keep people honest. I get that! But after that conversation, my card worked one time...and hasn't since. I'm sure it'll get straightened out, but in the meantime, it has been frustrating.

      I worked for Commerce Bank in Columbia, MO and it is entirely different. This branch lacks the common courtesy of greeting each customer when they pull up so they feel abandoned. To them you feel like just another number and don't try to understand who you are or what your needs are. They only try to meet their point quotas and have no compassion. Stick to a true local bank. Not a customer service nightmare.

      Rude and unprofessional tellers, no smile or proper greeting. My husband even had one teller at the Plaza location greet him with a ghetto "Wachu want?" What I want is for you to act professional and not approach me like you're on the street. They made us wait almost a month to get our debit cards, after many calls to check status, come to find they had sent it to wrong address but wouldn't give me the address, meanwhile we had the hassle of running our business without access without our cards. I told them I needed them asap and if I hadn't pressed for them to take responsibility they were going to charge me the overnight fee to get it to me! We made a check deposit in the branch and they deposited $10, instead of the $810, had the hassle of calling them and waiting for them to fix their error meanwhile no apology for the delay of use of MY funds. They also at one point froze my account because of a security breach on our cards but didn't' inform us so we ended up a whole weekend without access to our cash. When confronted about why they didn't call us they made it out to be our fault because they said our phone number was not active. We had the same number we gave them when we opened the account and no voice messages or missed calls so that's a lie, they wouldn't disclose of course the number they called. They also claimed they sent a notification letter, never got it. There wasn't even a notification on our online banking. Then we had to wait another week to get new cards, again a hassle, used to be able to get your cards printed in the branch. All these mishaps on their end in only 6 months of being a customer, you tell me if it's worth it cause I don't think so. They just clearly don't care. They've gotten too big to care.

      Great customer service!!! Everyone who works down in barry road are very accomodating. Elizabeth was the lady that help me today, very pleasant and polite to talk to and has been very helpful with my boyfriends car loan payment transactions and online payment questions.

      I love the people who work at the Barry road branch. All are always super friendly and one young man in particular always remembers to send 2 suckers back for my boys! Very sweet, customer service definitely stands out.

      Horrible experience with this entire company and they are so unhelpful. Half of them don't even have correct information. One person will tell me one thing and then another person will tell me something completely different. My fiance closed his account because of how absolutely awful commerce bank is.

      Why did they take away the 2nd ATM machine? I feel like some corporate boss was like "muhaha let them wait in line! Let them all wait in lines!!"
