  The Kirkwood branch is HORRIBLE. I have been banking with Commerce for over 20 years and haven't experienced anything like this. We tried adding my husband to our account and it took 3+ months. Multiple employees, including the branch manager, constantly assure you they are "working on it" (adding, mailing cards, filling out forms, requesting more forms to fill out, etc.) and nothing is ever taken care of or followed up. If you want any type of change on any of your accounts, including ordering checks, be prepared to CONSTANTLY babysit to ensure you are taken care of.

  I recommend going to another bank if you are a person of color. Completely ignored me in the lobby while helping other customers that obviously came in after me. No need to make a scene because I have accounts at better institutions with exceptional customer service.

  I have recently encountered two young women and a young man that have been pleasant, positive and professional, the young man asked if I needed help he’d get someone, and the one you lady Jackee once she completed her time with another customer was so so bubbly personable professional and nice her demeanor her whole attitude was refreshing and I LOVED her attitude so any visiting Commerce Kirkwood please be just as nice as they are to you!

  Horrible customer service... people could literally care less... no managers on duty on a saturday? Coin machine does not work as of this date. Brought my son here to cash in his piggie bank, he was so excited, next time going to coin star and paying the 7%.
