  Colter made the loan process as easy as possible for us. He communicated with us frequently throughout the process and truly made us feel like a VIP customer. He was great at letting us know what steps to expect next and helping us through our first construction loan. Jenny on his team was awesome and had super quick response time as well.   If you are shopping for a lender that specializes in construction loans and will explain in detail all of the products available and who will take the time to help you decide on one to fit your needs, I recommend to contact Kirk Hertzenberg. He explained all available options in an easy to understand format that gave me the confidence to make a decision. Most mortgage lenders want to sell you a product that is beneficial and easy for them, but everyone’s situation is different. Kirk did not push or “sell” one particular product and that made it easier for me to evaluate the options and make a decision that fit my situation perfectly.

  I was very pleased with the service I received with obtaining a mortgage with Colonial Nation Mortgage. Everything could be done via secure electronic systems, their staff were always available to answer questions by phone and email, and the entire process was completed in a timely manner. Highly recommend using them and will gladly use them again in the future.

  Colter and his team had the best plans for building loans that we could find. They are very good with all the details in completing loans quickly and accurately. Even the title company raved on how all of Colter’s loans run smoothly due to their hard work and attention to detail. Also, during the pandemic with everyone working from home we were always able to get someone on the phone and had constant communication and information that made this process FUN for our family.
