  John provided absolutely first-rate service to my wife and I, assisting us in our first home purchase and navigating all of the unknown that comes with it - with complete transparency, honesty and top-tier knowledge of the industry. I cannot recommend John highly enough. He is well-humored and made the whole experience not only quick and easy, but also very informative. I enjoyed every interaction that I had with him and his team. Edna was easy to reach and prompt in delivery of everything too. I have since recommended John to a colleague - who has used him and had the exact same experience. My advice to anyone about to need assistance on a Mortgage - Don't use a big, impersonal bank for your mortgage - where you could get passed around departments. Work with John, a local guy who knows everyone, everything and how the market in Houston/Texas is. He will do right by you and get you the best possible rate.

  Wonderful experience with Ricardo Lobo our loan officer. He was communicative through out the whole process and it all went super smooth and without complications. answered all my questions and replied back promptly to text and emails. Ricardo made himself accessible at all times which really made it a great experience. Will definitely recommend !!!

  We are so impressed with Colonial and even more so with Tyler Kruse! He was so helpful and informative throughout the entire process and worked with us through each of the steps and around several challenges that popped up between selling our previous home and buying our new home. Tyler was always happy to talk through any questions we had on the phone and was prompt to reply to quick questions via email and text. I cannot fully express our gratitude in a short review like this. Tyler's exceptional work and customer service has made Colonial our go to for any future home purchases or refinances we will look at. We have already referred two of our friends to him.

  My husband and I were very pleased with John as well as his Senior Loan Processor, Edna, in our efforts to refinance our home. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. Every step was explained and we received updates from Edna on a constant basis. John was referred to us by a family member and my husband I highly recommend him as well.

  We have been using Colonial for several years now, since we first built our home in 2008. Since then, we have refinanced to add a pool, and now refinanced at a lower interest rate. Colonial has been a pleasure to work with - much of that is attributed to John Minin and Edna Guerrero. These two have work tirelessly to help us each time and make sure we get the best service possible. I would recommend them to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
