      We rented a house in downtown Rehoboth for a week in August. The realtor we used was Beth Smiley. She was very responsive whenever I had a question. Reserving online was easy, including e-signing the documents. Check-in is simple and the folks that give you the keys provide you with lots of helpful information to enhance your vacation there. The house was perfect for us and in a great location. We will try to reserve it again for next year.

      House Unit 5A Ocean Harbor Dewey Beach - When we entered our rental property on day 1 there was a small bowl on the dining room table that was attempting to collect water from a leaking ceiling. There was water on the table and the floor that we needed to clean up immediately. No one at Coldwell Banker advised us of this when we picked up the keys. We called and was told they would look into it for us. They later called and ask me to take pictures for them. I was at the beach but went back to the house only to find the ceiling had collapsed. Just as we were sitting down for dinner in the kitchen, as opposed to the dining room the plumber and cleaning crew arrived. We understand that things happen and glad that it was fixed but it totally disrupted our first day. We had to clean up what we saw when we arrived. We had to call Coldwell. I had to go back from the beach to take pictures and we were interrupted during dinner. We also had to live with a major hole in the ceiling for the entire week. On Day 2 we were planning on cooking on the grill for dinner only to find that the grill didn't have the grid where you place the food so we had to adjust for day 2 as well. We had plans on cooking on the grill multiple days that week so that was a major adjustment as well. On our final day the ceiling started leaking again. We felt we should be compensated for the inconveniences we encountered. Just a small token to acknowledge the issued we dealt with but the owner and Coldwell refused. It could have been as small as a discount if we returned to the same house the following year but we were turned down. Unless Coldwell changes their stance we will not use them again. VERY disappointed !!!

      Hello Tom, We apologize for the experience you had at Ocean Harbor 5A this summer, as that is not how we wish for our guests' vacations to go. In speaking with your agent, we understand the plumbers had been called and were at the home less than 2 hours after your arrival, and the cleaners there immediately after to clean up the work done. Your agent also informed us you were indeed offered a refund of your $75 processing fee for the inconvenience. The rental homes listed with us are all privately owned, with the owners employing us to assist in booking the rentals and maintenance issues the guests report to us. If issues go unreported to us, as with the ceiling here until you notified us, we have no way of knowing there are issues that need to be addressed. With the refund situation, the $75 processing fee is the extent of the refund we can offer without approval from the property owner. The amount you pay in rent, as outlined on your lease, goes directly to the owner. The processing fee, on the other hand, goes to us at Coldwell Banker. Your agent was not authorized to issue a refund by the owner of the property, therefore all they could offer was the $75 processing fee back to you, which it seems you declined. We do truly apologize for your experience, as it truly matters to us that you have an enjoyable vacation. It is our hope that, in the future, you will consider using our services again so that we may re-earn your trust as a guest and ensure an improved vacation experience at the Delaware Beaches.       My family and I have been coming to Rehoboth Beach for over 40 years. We have booked our vacations with Coldwell Realty for the past 5 years now, and have never been disappointed. Harold our agent has always been wonderful and helpful in finding the right rental for my large family. The staff have always been cordial. Thank you all especially Harold for making our vacation stay as always a memorable one. I will be looking forward to booking the same rental property for next year.

      Rented a condo in Rehoboth for the summer from them several months ago. May through September 2021. Got a call today that the owner of the property doesn't want to rent anymore. Won't use Coldwell Banker again, and I will tell everyone I know not to use them. BTW I am a Realtor.

      We booked online. Every step of the process from calling in to getting the e-contract signed, to checking in and out was beyond easy and everyone was super friendly. Would book with them again. Great experience. The storm door in front door if rental got jammed due to the wind closing it with some force, and they were quick to rectify the situation. Great group of people operating this office.

      Had a great experience with the Coldwell Banker team. I booked a property last minute and Myles did a great job explaining the properties that were available. Very friendly check in, and the property I booked in Dewey was fantastic, clean & well stocked, I’m already working on my September trip!

      We have found the staff at Coldwell Banker Resort Realty to be fantastic. We booked a vacation home for the first week of August 2020 back in December. In January, we became aware of a previously unknown commitment for the same time period and we needed to change our vacation week. Our sales representative, Bill Mantyla, responded to my email plea for help within minutes and was able to accommodate our change. It brought great relief to me and my family - we've not had a full 7 day vacation in a long time and it would have been incredibly disappointing if we could not make this work.       Flew in from Park City and rented a house in Rehoboth Beach for my family to gather here, 10 in all. The house was outfitted to sleep 12, minus sheets which amazes me, but ill equipped for cooking etc. There were enough coffee mugs but the was it. No one came through the house before we arrived to make sure everything was in order. The toilets were moldy and the garbage disposal was broken. We had to wait to get it fixed before running the dish washer. There were only 4 outdoor chairs on the huge patio. Sleeps 12 with nowhere to sit outside. A property management company in Park City which managed a house similar to this would be out of business very quickly. I will not be using them again. Jack Lingo seems to have some very nice looking properties. I will look into them next time.

      We have used Coldwell Banker twice to rent in Rehoboth beach. Each time we have had issues with cleanliness and the lack of maintenance of their properties. Our last rental property was infested with roaches! Even though they moved us to a new property, that property too had issues. (Broken A/C and refrigerator) The whole experience ruined our vacation. We will never rent from them again.
