  Way beyond my expectation! Steve recently helped me refinance two loans: one is for my primary home (i.e., easy one) and the other one for my investment property with multiple business partners (i.e., tricky one). My first refinance was relatively simple. He was able to complete everything within 2.5 weeks from my first email to the actual closing, which was a record-breaking experience to me. On the other hand, the second refinance with multiple business partners located in different states was quite challenging. It definitely needed lots of back-and-forth efforts. He and his team (especially, Valerie Griffin) were phenomenal communicators. In each step, they clearly explained what’s needed, why it’s needed and how we can tackle it. I am sure people would be amazed at least 3 times when they work with him and his team. 1. Coastal capital’s portal showing loan strategies with lots of graphs/data, which help you easily compare them and determine the best one. Not only has he knowledge but also knows how to well-deliver it to his customers. 2. Incredible service - again this becomes more crucial when the loan gets trickier. 3. Lastly but most importantly, saving thousands of dollars - a couple of points less than other lenders yet with a low fee

  It has been a pleasure to work with Steve Berger. He made my refinance process a breeze, walking me thru the process step by step. He even created amazing charts and graphs of all the options that were available to me. Most of the paper work was done online and it was a quick and easy process. From beginning to end, it took less than a month to close on the loan. It probably took longer than it needed because I was out of the country for 2 of those weeks.   We worked with Steve when buying our home. He remained professional and personable and even answered our phone calls while out of the office, on vacation and even on his birthday!   The first time we worked with Steve Berger was when we first bought our home. We were first time buyers with many questions and a little fear of what we were about to do. He was helpful and made the process easy to understand. A year later we worked with him again to refinance our loan to remove the PMI and lower our monthly payments. A few years later we refinanced again to lower the interest rate and again recently to get an even lower interest rate. Each time Steve has made the process easy and simple.

  Steve and his team were fantastic to work with, ensuring our tight timeframe, with several challenges to overcome, was met. Not only did he walk me through everything I needed to know, he always made himself available to answer any questions I may have and assist in any way possible as I pulled together the required documentation. He stayed one step ahead at all times, remarkable given the tight timeframe we had from meeting him to close! I can't say enough good things about Steve and his team and would certainly recommend them again and again! Update: We once again opted to use Steve to refinance as rates dropped and house prices continued to increase. We were specifically seeking to drop the PMI and crossed our fingers for a slightly lower rate from the killer rate he got us less than a year ago. To our initial disappointment, the appraisal came back extremely low but Steve went to bat for us, doing his own research to provide the appraisal team resulting in a revision to our appraisal that exceeded our expectations. Through his efforts, we were able to drop the PMI through the recognition of the current market value AND dropped our rate even further. Both of our experiences with Steve were fantastic with him remaining in constant contact through the entire process. I will continue to use him in the future and will continue to recommend him again and again!
