      I attended Clarendon College Amarillo Campus. The cosmetology program is very basic and the instructors are EXTREMELY unprofessional. I also spoke over the phone with Jana, director of the cosmetology program, a few times about very minor things and she always ended up loosing her temper and being very disrespectful. Most of the time we sat around doing nothing. (Unless the higher ups were coming into town.) This school does a great job preparing you for state board exams, but does not even begin to teach you what you need to know after you graduate. You are better off watching a YouTube video than trying to get an instructor to teach you how to do something. Dealing with financial aid in Clarendon was always a pain. I had to drive to Clarendon several times to have a 5 minute conversation with them, because they do not return your phone calls. I do not recommend this school to anyone who is wanting a serious career in cosmetology. If you are already attending Clarendon College and you are having issues, I would recommend speaking to Lana. She's was always extremely helpful and very polite!!
