  I had a really had a great time working with Chris Clark with Smart Home Mortgage. Being a first time buyer is intimidating especially not understanding or having any knowledge on the process/terminology of buying a home. I originally was working with another company, and Chris was able to help me pre-qualify for a higher amount than the first company quoted me. Any hour of the day, I would send Chris a text and he would always respond pretty quickly. & if he wasn’t able to, he always communicated a time he’d be able to call me back. Anytime I felt I had a “dumb” question, he was always there to reassure me and explain things in a way to easily understand. The process was easy, well communicated, and we were able to do a 21 day escrow. Thank you Chris for making my experience buying a home for the first time so easy! I would 100% recommend Chris to any of my family and friends.

  Mr. Clark and team were very courteous and professional! They went above and beyond making our loan process seamless. We always felt we were in good hands.   Best company to work with, they go out of there way to help you with all your needs from being to end. Chris Clark is a great guy and he really had a unique situation with me, but he made it happen and I got the home of my dreams thanks to his hard work. They kept me up to date along the process.   As a first time home buyer, I had a lot of questions about the mortgage process and Chris was patient and incredibly knowledgeable, always taking time for my calls and quickly responding to my texts. There was never a time during the whole process where I felt uncertain. Chris was so quick and on the ball, we were able to close escrow in under three weeks! Not only was he fast but offered great rates that I definitely would not have been able to find through a mortgage with my own bank. Everything felt effortless thanks to Chris, highly recommended!

As we know, buying a new home, especially for the first time, can be extremely stressful and intimidating. Chris was referred to us by a friend, after my husband and I had dealt with a few Lenders were extremely dissatisfied with on so many levels. Finding a lender that works for you and your needs is crucial in the home buying process and Chris proved that. From the first experience with Chris to the last experience, Chris show a significant amount of patience with us.   Chris Clark was outstanding to work with during our recent refinance. For me, one of the most important qualities I value is communication. Chris is easy to talk to, patient, and most of all, timely in his responses. This alone would warrant 5 stars from me. Chris kept everything organized and flowing as smoothly as possible.   Chris and his team were amazing at helping us through the process, day and night. Very responsive via text and e-mail. Also I appreciate being able to work with someone locally whom understands the community. Overall Chris was able to secure a great mortgage rate and lower closing costs than us working with the major lenders directly. Not many people buy homes often and are familiar with the process, so having someone willing to walk us through everything, what to expect, when to expect it, etc was very comforting. I encourage anyone to reach out to them, save yourself some time and money by working with a local lender in addition to doing buisiness within our community.
