  Received grant coverage for a class and was issued a check from U of M. Stopped at a few banks closer to home but they said they couldn't cash it. Went in here because this is typically where people go to cash checks that do not have an account open with local banks. They asked me why I waited so long (2 weeks) to cash this check and then refused to cash it because they couldn't confirm with the university as to why I had this check. I mean,, it was Saturday and nobody was at the university. First off, I provided the proper identification to prove I am who I am. If I were doing anything illegal do you really believe I would go to an organization where I sign documents and provide identification? I'm a student that just wanted to be reimbursed for paying for a class. Second, since when is it common practice to ask customers about their personal timeline when it's well within the 90 days to cash a check. As if I couldn't possibly be a student if I wasn't rushing right away to cash this check. Apparently it's normal for this place to make you feel like a criminal. I'll find somewhere else from now on or the university will just have to find other means of reimbursement. Good luck to all of you that receive a check from a business and want to get it cashed. They will call the business and make sure that you have provided a service for this money. Hopefully someone from said business that knows you by name answers, otherwise you could be waiting while they verify the business is sure they really want to pay you. Be sure you rush right over and cash this check the very day you receive it otherwise you will be deemed suspicious.

  I love this check N go. I’ll never use another location after visiting the Davison store. Kaci is incredibly helpful and gets me in and out every time! The staff all around is awesome! Check them out!

  Spoke with the district manager today. Angela your staff had been great over the years! Ted is doing a great job. Being the new guy isn’t always easy. Jacqueline we miss you but congratulations on your promotion or what not! Keep up the great work! Keep those smiles on for us no matter the mast nellies that come in! 😆😆
