  Just a few words to share about how great the service has been at check Center I came in with a check from October 2021 that I had forgot to cash, the friendly staff and management at check center went out of their way to verify the check from the company that issued it and was able to cash the check within a week I was very pleased with the help that they provided me if I ever have a problem with having to cash check the first place I’m going is to check center on San Pablo Ave. in Berkeley .allen L of concord ca.

  In a world of robot zombie"can't come out of the box" employees like those at every single CVS, Check Center in Berkeley has the rare distinction of being staffed with actual compassionate HUMAN BEINGS! The nice young woman heard my situation and helped me when no one else would. That used to be something people did for one another but in this world it is harder and harder to find. Thank you Check Center. You're a godsend!

  Unhappy looking teller wouldn't let me cash my check because she thought it was fake asking me all sorts of random questions trying to catch me in a lie really? I've cashed checks several times before this and never had a problem. Won't be back.

  The establishment is understaffed and they now want ID to buy a money order.

  The people who work here are extremely unprofessional. They hire people who for one have extremely horrible attitudes and for two don’t know what they’re doing and when they don’t know they make up bizarre and confusing lies instead of being straight forward and admitting they don’t know what they’re doing. Huge waste of my time please head this warning , save yourself a headache and do your business somewhere else
