Chase Bank Reviews

Valerie Garza1Martin Ramos does not value customers, or their time. I was told that my time is less important than other customers that may walk in. Went in today, the only day I could due to work, to change my name. The teller said she could do it at the window because "it doesn't take that long," but her "manager" said not to. Talked to a banker named Martin Ramos. He tells me there is no manager there today. Strange... So turns out Martin Ramos simply told the teller not to do it because he doesn't want the line to get long. Basically telling me that serving my banking needs is less important than anyone else that walks in. Complained to corporate about Martin Ramos, nothing will probably happen, looks like the manager and Martin are related (same last name, nepotism much?)

Byron Hurst1All I wanted to do was deposit a check that was going into a non-profit account. When I got in line, the people behind the counter looked directly at me. I knew I was going to have problems. I had my id, account number, and check ready, she said they couldn’t deposit it, because one word was added to the end of the name of the non-profit (scholarship) “really!” So I drove out of my way to a different Chase Bank with the same information and was able to deposit the check with no problems. So I ask, what was different?

Deanna Canon1Per the 800 number, I had to close my account in person. It would've taken maybe 15 minutes. There were 2 gentlemen at their desks with no customers but since they had appointments coming they couldn't help me. I had to go to another Chase Bank or come back at a later date. Meanwhile my account continue to be hacked. Thank you Chase for nothing.

VICTORIA ARROYO1I came to open a new account & they said they couldn't help me because I didn't have an appt. There was not a single person in line or waiting to speak with a specialist. It was a Saturday morning and all the employees seemed to be free and available. Horrible customer service here. I went to another bank instead.

josh carter1Went to open a new checking account with a large check in hand and was told the branch did not have an employee who could sign up a new customer for a basic account that day ...at a bank! I had thought about switching to Chase for years but never went to a branch to Mahe it happen. Guess I dodged a bullet.

Lori Lyon1Not being a child of the internet age, it is rare I post a review, however, when it is earned, I oblige. This is the worse bank I have ever worked with. The fees are outrageous and they charge for everything, even with a six figure balance. Today I am going through the trouble, and it will be a painful experience because the customer service is horrendous, to close the account.

Gio Ramlogan1This bank has POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I signed in to see a banker and waited 1 hour. When I finally saw someone one they said sorry, I can't help you with a business account come back another day. They had others waiting for business accounts as well and never said anything to all the people. They WASTED over hour and a half total time. Then the manager would not even speak to me on this matter. Fire them ALL!!!

Desiree Dennis5This seems to be the only branch in the area capable of answering a phone and both times I've called (different days) they were polite and answered my questions. They also usually keep a notary available which is becoming more rare. We drive further to go to this branch because they've been nice and helpful.
