  Chase bank what is wrong with you ? Cashier was quiet and serious. I bought a $20.00 dls money order, and I was charged $5.00dls for it. Why? I am a customer and I have had my account for years. Okay, cashier said I could go to Walmart to get it cheaper. What? Why? Why should I go to Walmart and buy it there? No. Okay, I bought it. I don’t have time for games. I go to the post office and while waiting for my turn the person in front of me buys a money order. I did not know one could buy money orders in the post office. I asked the kind cashier(Denise) how much do money orders cost ? She said up to $100.00dls costs $1.45 dls wwhhaaaattt!!! I just got robbed in my own bank. My experience today at this branch of Chase was not pleasant at all and knowing they over charged money orders. Makes feel really sad. Now you know go to the post office or Walmart to purchase money orders better there. I want to add that I bought checks at Chase bank too. Yes, I did. The cashier at the moment ask me if the checks were going to have only my name. No, never ask for checks for myself only. My husband and I have a joint account. Really? Oh checks too I think are pricey $20.00 dls no copy $24.00dls with copy.

  Very helpful notary. Not terribly organized staff overall. This time when I went to the atm the drive up atm on the inside lane did not work. It'll accept the card but the touchscreen doesn't work. Thankfully the outer lane atm was fully functional.

  Get charged a $10 fee to cash a small amount Chase Bank check if don't have a Chase account and a valid drivers license alone is not sufficient as proof of ID. Pathetic!

  Not even a start!! Worst service given. I created an account and was deactivated three weeks later due to an error committed twice by them. And they said that the money I deposited will be sent by mail in 3 weeks, and I needed to pay my tuition. I almost got drop from my classes. Don't trust this bank if you are a student. They ruined my month, and not even my employeer can pay me at this time

  Had an emergency and had to withdraw $7,000 from my bank account and the manager (FLOR) said THEY had a limit of $3,000 per customer and to come back the next day!!!! What? I called customer service and even they were shocked, said they’re should be no limit on how much to withdraw. Of course I filed a complaint and everything but what’s the point on that! I needed my money not to file a complaint. Changing bank now.

  I've been with this bank for years and years. I recently have gotten fraud on my account and has been the worst process from start to finish. Last week i came In here and not kidding I had to wait 1hr 30 minutes just to speak to someone with my problems because when I called over the phone and spoke to customer service who transferred me to claims, who transferred me to fraud, who told me to come to the bank here, who told me everything was fine, then called back to customer service, who transferred me back to claims, who spoke to fraud, who transferred me back to claims, who told me to come back to the bank and speak to a manager because of my fraud situation. Now i am here again on my day off been waiting 30 minutes now to speak to someone again about the same situation and going to cancel my account. If you like getting tossed like a ping pong ball and have lots of time to waist stay here otherwise word of advice stay away from here or stay away from Chase. Canceling today going somewhere else asap.

  Very disrespectful staff, very judging of appearance and love to gossip between each other. I walked in and they stared at me and my mother and laughed, joked, and were obviously speaking about us. They gave me and her a hard time feeling comfortable with ourselves. Guy who helped us in the cubicle was okay.

  I like coming here to use the ATM at night. Because the ATM is inside the building, it reduces the probability of getting mugged because of the great lighting and security cameras. If you are really concerned, then visit the McAllen Chase Bank on 10th Street. The building has multiple security guards. There is a table there to sign checks before depositing them, and for cleaning out your purse.

  Worst experience ever waited in lobby so they could tell me that to open an account I have to make an appointment.They should lead with that.
