Chase Bank Reviews

CASH B5I originally had Chase back in 2016 and switched to Wells Fargo for convenience, didn’t end well for them. Switched right back to Chase a few years ago, I don’t regret my decision! Excellent place to do business with.

Douglas Burke1Went to Showlow Az branch of Chase Bank over two weeks ago, they told me i have to make an appointment to open a new account or go online, then told me i can't open a joint account online. Ok i made the appointment next appointment is two weeks away,ok lets do it. We walked in today waited 20 minutes, they have one man that can open a new account. One person in that bank is the only one that can open an account. Just a building that full of empty desks and no employees. Extremely disappointed, we did not open the account.

Jessica Sunderhaus1I have never had an issue with the employees here, however, I do suggest never trying to deposit money into the ATM's. I tried to deposit $400 there about 4 months ago and the machine told me it couldn't process my request and never spit my money back out. I continue to call and ask why it hasn't been deposited into my account and they keep telling me they have no record of the transaction. So I guess I'm just out the $400. Thanks Chase!

Sunny Sky3We come here almost every single Friday to cash a check. There have been times when it's been closed randomly (not a Holiday) and we drove from Overgaard for nothing, so that's a bummer. I don't want an account here so they charge $8 to cash it. Sure beats the $20 something we would pay in our town. Most of the girl's are nice, nothing too spectacular as far as customer service goes.

Ms. D3Daniel Patterson has really good customer service skills. He was very helpful in helping me to open an account. Originally i opened the account online - however they closed it. Plus the other challenge to opening an account is it would not allow me to enter my address - as it is a rural location. This problem with not accepting rural addresses need to be fixed. I have been banking with BOA for over 13yrs and I opened this account to be able to make in person business transactions. When I tried to call customer service their system is set up to only take calls from existing customers- major problem, because if you (as myself) recently opened an account - you can't get through to customer service. I know this is COVID era however I believe this problem could have been fixed long time ago. I don't have these problems with BOA. Maybe doing a mentorship on customer service might be helpful. I see previous posts of people's dissatisfaction maybe they ought to look into this. There's no BOA up here or I would have banked with them. Wells Fargo is totally not an option and then there's Chase. My score: 3 stars for Daniel and minus 1 star for not being able to speak to someone in customer service (major problem) and minus 1 star for the online issue with not being able to open an account due to my address.

Dennis Trotter1I've never seen anything like it! I went into the Show Low branch, waited in line for them to tell me I had to go online to Chase.com to open an account, ok! I go out in the parking lot and fill out the online form but it won't except my address so I call the branch phone number and I get a message to call back later, it tells me I can call an 800 number, so that's what I did. So I call the 800 number but the only way you can talk to anyone is to give an account number, I'm trying to open an account, I don't have an account number. So after about a half hour I finally get through on the branch number but am told I'll hafto make an appointment but can't get one for a couple days. I drive over 30 miles to get to show Low so I say to hell with it and go to Az Central Credit Union because if that's a sign of the service I could expect I'll go somewhere else.

Eugene Heatwole5My experience with Chase Bank has been extremely positive. I am a simple man. My particular relationship with Chase is a demanding one. I deposit money into another account which causes them to fill all the deposit slips themselves. Not once in a year have they ever even made the slightest remark that I should do it myself. Once when I didn't realize that my checking would automatically transfer funds from savings I was charged twenty dollars. The teller refunded me the twenty. Among my transactions every Friday are money orders. I get those free because of my military background. Every member of the staff is EXTREMELY helpful and polite. They greet most customers by name as they have memorized our names. It is a good feeling to be greeted as I walk in by my name . I will never bank elsewhere.IF YOU ARE A VETERAN THIS IS YOUR BANK.. Honestly and respectfully Eugene Heatwole'

Dusty Whiting5I just happened to check if they would be open of the holiday weekend and was surprised to see a few negative reviews. In 2013 I switched to Chase Bank because of negative experiences with another bank. Chase Bank has always been courteous and quick to solve any of my bank related issues.

sue3Welcome to show low. It used to be a small town where everyone knew each other and their families.now we have grown so FAST that they have become overwhelmed. I only know 2 people now. And so many people from out of town. Give it some time for adjustment. try to be patient. Image how the locals feel. Imagine how the workers feel.

Bill Barnes5What a perfect experience. I needed to to a wire funds but never had before so i was very nervous. Arrived at Chase around 9:15 am last Wednesday, walked in and sign in and immediately as was approached by Lenny Lasota asking if I needed help. Lenny was very comfortable to work with. As he prepared the wire transfer we enjoyed conversing together. When done, he went over everything with me to make sure it was correct and also went over to have it verified. The bank was busy but very friendly.
