Chase Bank Reviews

Timothy Alan1I've never experienced such suffocating apathy from someone whose job it is to assist. I came in with a debit card issue, and was immediately blamed for the error, told that I was wrong despite providing proof, and endured huffing and puffing from the young woman assisting me when I asked for help with a solution. I understand the frustration of working a job dealing with customer service; furthermore, I understand that you can't be passionate about every customer's problem. But I came to a bank that has all of my money and explained that I can't get access to that money. And now I'm being told that I won't be able to access my funds until after the weekend when the new card arrives in the mail. It may not be a problem for the young woman working there, but it is a problem for a customer banking with Chase, where she's employed, and an inconvenient problem at that. At minimum, pretend to care and practice empathy. This location is literally less than a block from where I live. I could walk and be there in two minutes, and I'd now rather drive miles to another location just to be reminded what customer service feels like. I wish everyone there a peaceful and joyous life. Hopefully we'll never meet again.

OD Green4I've never had a problem. I can name several tellers in particular that I have worked with over the years that keep me specifically at this location. They don't have a public bathroom...but honestly I haven't noticed one at other branches and their staffing is down like every other business. Outside of that...their staff is the only reason I specifically go there. They've went above and beyond for me on several occasion over the years. They did the same for my family members when they realized they were related to me.

Lorita Melvin1Seeking to speak with a Chase personal banker at the South Holland branch proved to be impossible because they are not answering their phone on a Tuesday a.m. at 10:00 a.m.. I kept getting rerouted until the clerk from another country empathized with my plight and scheduled me with another location. Shame on Chase for not requiring branches to answer their phone or checking to make sure they do. So glad Calumet City branch is able to accommodate with an appt for a matter that extends beyond everyday banking.

Cheyenne H1This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with any place. Firstly, when I came in the woman at the window rushed us. She told us to go online to make an appointment with a teller, which we did. The day of the appointment, they were supposed to call at 12:00 pm. They never called. No follow up email, no alerts as to if the meeting was canceled, nothing.

Ashley Livesay1Called to talk to a manager. In the middle of the conversation she hung up the phone on me. She is very rude and I do not recommend this branch to anyone. Chase has lost their true meaning of value the customer. Such unprofessionalism in the work place.

Aleysha Williams1This location is a joke, went into the location to get my name changed on my account and to add my husband to the account. The only lady that was working spent almost a hour on one customer. For more than half the time they talked and laughed. They had personal conversations instead of making sure she got her customers taking care of. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Lucky they one got one star, the option of no stars wasn’t available.

Mary M1No restroom? Not even for your customers? I been doing my personal banking with chase for over 10 years. Now my business banking as well. Shame on you, this is not the way to treat loyal customers!

Annette Turner5I waited about 10 min before I was seen. The young lady that took care of me was very knowledgeable about what I wanted and she expedited everything that I asked for I love Chase, I have banked with them for a coupled of name changes.

Eric Peters1Horrible customer service for my daughter who was considering opening an account. The teller insisted on charging the service fee on her summer check - issued on a Chase bank check. While she popped her gum, she explained she couldn't even ASK to have it waived. So we went to the Chase across the expressway and the teller there told us before we asked that they were waiving the fee for these checks. I didnt get her nAme but she was sitting on the left with a lot of weave.
