Crystal Griffith1If a negative 5 was an option that's what I'd rank it. Drafted funds from the check writer bank then still wanted to hold the check forn15 days. There online banking is garage and when you call the local branch you get the option of call the 1800#. Even after taking the time out of my work day to going person to handle it all the branch manager would do was blame Austin Bank and refused to speak to them to fix their own mistake.

Shay Richardson3One teller on a Friday evening that can assist on certain things is ridiculous. Not a very good plan to provide service but the tellers were extra friendly and eventually accommodated me after customers started to leave.

Jamie Goode5I have had no issues with them. They always take care of me when I come in to the lobby or the drive thru. And if there are issues, they always handle it quickly and respectfully! I like using them for my banking needs!

John B1Chase places unreasonable holds on deposits. On at least two occasions I have had a 10 day hold placed on a deposit from an account of mine at a different bank. Business has been conducted between the two accounts for years. There has never been any issue whatsoever with checks clearing. In the two most recent instances, the deposit had cleared the originating bank by the 2nd day after the deposit was made. Out of curiosity, I inquired at Chase as to why the funds weren't available, considering they had cleared the originating bank. I was told that money might not really be there, and that if I didn't have as many returned items, it wouldn't happen **THIS WAS WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE ACCOUNT, MERELY PROFILING MY APPEARANCE**. There has never been an issue with the account of any sort.

Austin McFarland1Absolutely terrible customer service. Went two days in a row to assist my sister in opening an account and they had no sense of urgency or care whatsoever in assisting us. Granted we were on a time crunch the first day so only spent about 15 minutes waiting before leaving the next day the office manager or bank manager just acknowledged our presence and assured us we would be helped soon by another associate who was with a guest. Then as she finished they continued to discuss scheduling changes and time off needs making us a wait over 20 minutes without being assisted. We left and honestly I won’t be back, I love chase bank but this location is absolutely terrible and always has been even 3 years ago when I went in to open my account. They need new management, a sense of urgency, & a well rounded training on optimal customer service!

Suzsano Moreno1Very disappointed with this branch. They had only two tellers when I went in there, with very few people waiting in line for them. (The tellers were actually very polite, the gentleman said we had to wait for a banker to help us). The banker Autumn was speaking to what looked like the manager when we arrived. Tried to get her help, but the manager, (a heavier set male), told me to take a seat, that they would be with me shortly. Waited for almost thirty minutes, with no sense of urgency to help us, until finally Autumn came out from their conversation to help us. I would understand if there was many people waiting for service, but there was no cue, and absolutely no reason as to why they just seemed to not care, while having a full on conversation. There was no sense of urgency or customer service whatsoever.

FatBrownBuffalo1Tried to cash a chase bank check here and the rude employees told me that the computer wouldn't let them cash it and that I needed to go to my own bank. I had to drive 5 miles to another chase where they cashed the check with no problems. Too lazy to pull money out of a drawer. No wonder chase keeps getting sued for being crooked. They hire such fitting people.

Karen New England1I was so taken aback by my experience 2 days ago, I feel compelled to share. I went into this local branch arriving around and signed in at 12:20. Closing time is 1 ( Saturday). There was ONE banker working and assisting a couple and there was another couple in front of me. A teller comes up afer 15 min and asks what my needs were and I advised that I was there to open a new account. I received an offer in the mail for new banking customers to receive a $500 bonus for opening and funding with a moderate sum for at least 90 days. I was advised that due to the time that it took to open this new account, I would need to return another day. We civilly went back and forth on this a bit, me in utter disbelief that they would turn away a NEW banking customer and in such a despicable manner. I asked for the branch manager and was provided his card. Will call first thing Monday morning! I get home, still mulling this over and call CS to see if I could open the account over the phone or online since the mailer advised in branch; and advised of my earlier experience. I was advised basically the same thing- arrive early for new accounts! I advised her taking my formal compliant, that I have never heard of turning away a customer, let alone new money! And furthermore there is no signage to advise of this "cut off" time. So for me, post-bonus I will not be doing biz with Chase! I dont bank with brick and mortar banks due to even more paltry interest rates and maybe working from home the last 10 yrs has changed my exposure, but I am just speechless! Yes, things are changing but some things should stay the same- NEVER turn away a customer! ** Follow up today with the branch manger did not yield any results, I wont bank with Chase after this.Bank of America would never do this, lock the doors at 1 and service the remaining customers!**

Cecilia1I have never had problems with Chase until yesterday when the ATM (the one at the entrance) ate my deposit. I already filed a claim and hopefully gets resolved asap. I noticed that the Chase ATMs in Tyler malfunctions often, and I should have deposit it with the teller. PLEASE DON'T EVER USE THEIR ATMS OR ANY BANK ATMS TO MAKE DEPOSITS...
