Chase Bank Reviews

Jason Medeiros1Justin didn’t know Chase company policy regarding acceptable ID and refused to setup account (I already have multiple Chase accounts). I left and looked up Chase policy online. Called back and Justin still refused. Asked for manager, Ryan, he also refused and maintained the same pig-headness. I persisted, Ryan placed me on hold and came back with a story that their policy had just changed that week and yes, I was right. My wife and I had taken off work to open these new accounts and arranged a sitter for our daughter who is disabled. Ryan offered no concession or respite, just a “sucks for you” attitude. Chase is bottom of the barrel as far as banks go and this branch is pretty near the bottom of Chase’s murky barrel.

RHM1The “Vice President” of this branch is rude and useless. I am a Chase Private Client and recently moved to the area. I had an issue with being charged a wire transfer fee, which should be covered with Private Client. This so called manager just made excuses that “policies had changed” and couldn’t help me. I called my previous bank and there was zero issue with crediting me the fee. Chase upper management needs to find a replacement for this manager before it loses profitable clients who won’t put up with this poor customer service.

Michael Boyd5I am truly amazed by these reviews. I have been dealing with banks for 45 years now both for my businesses and, of course, personally. My relationship with Chase and in particular this branch at Curlew and 19 is easily the best I have ever had. Without a single exception everyone at Chase has bent over backwards to make this a great, economical and sincerely friendly personal experience. As a result of moving my business accounts here in order to have nationwide branch coverage I ultimately moved all my personal accounts here as well. My thanks to everyone at Chase for all they have done earn this exceptional praise.

Ruth Barber1As with all the local chase branches they do not answer the phone. They say it’s because they’re helping other customers however every time I have gone there they are completely empty!

Erin Butler1It's hard to just blame just this branch. It is Chase Bank as a whole. They are consolidating all of their branches and trying to eliminate face to face customer service. They want our money in their bank but refuse to give customer service in return. In these Covid times I can understand trying to rectify any bank problems or needs remotely but once again they have my money and I can't get a hold of anyone online, phone. Then when I went into the bank no one could help there either because they were to busy! It's pretty easy to see why I'm so angry with Chase Bank!

Derick Holzmacher1I went into this Bank to try an open an account. This place has barely any employees and totally desolate. There is one teller and one person to help open new accounts. Then I was told that you have to make appointments to see someone to open an account and would have to wait over an hr. No wonder why this is named "Chase Bank" because they actually chase customers away. Who wants to wait over an hr to open up an account. Very rude people. You wonder why people don't like going to banks in person, but rather go online.

Esther Fernandez Aguilar1The worse customer service. Went in 1/24/20 for second time to open Savings account. Front office staff ignored me for 20 minutes, but had time to chat amongst themselves. I am done going to this location, on Curlew & 19. If you want to sit and have time to yourself. This Chase Branch is for you! If you want good customer service, go to the Chase Branch in Boot Ranch, night and day difference!!

jeff mcc5I switched to Chase a couple ago and their continued customer support always is superior to other banks I've used in the past. Whether it's online or at the local branch here in Palm Harbor it's always easy and convenient and today when I went into switch some account details around, Damaris Gonzales knew exactly what I needed and did it precisely and quicker than I thought possible. It dawned on me why am I using another bank for my business and I'm looking forward to having even a stronger relationship with Chase thanks to their people here locally.

James Amanatides1You should be able to post without any star rating!! On January 10 th I went in to the palm Harbor branch to inquire about a cd. I met with Ian and he went through some options but turns out I needed to see a different investment consultant but he wasn’t there at that time. So the next day I went to the store to make a purchase and was embarrassed to find out that my debit cards was declined. I knew something was wrong because I have plenty of money to cover the purchase. So I call the card services and find out that the card had been reported lost or missing and a new one had been ordered and also find out that Ian had been the one to do this. The following Monday I call Ian to find out why this was done and who authorized it. He doesn’t give me any explanation or any apology and it didn’t seem like it was any big concern to him. So I tell him I will get ahold of Ryan the branch manager. So I call back to speak with the manager but he didn’t come to the phone I had to leave my information to have him get back with me letting them know I had a breach on my account. He never calls me back.I've tried several times to contact him but he is never there or can’t come to the phone. Finally I get a call back from Ian with an apology and he lets me know I should have my replacement card in a few days. 2 days ago I had to call Ian back to let him know that I still haven’t got the card in the mail. I think that they have sent it to the wrong address that is not associated with my account. When he gets back with me he said that he will have the manager call me back concerning my account. I don’t carry money with me the debit card is usually my only form of payment so when my bank cancels my only way of payment without my consent and won’t even act with a sense of urgency to correct the problem it’s time to change banks. I get better and more accurate service from the atm It’s been 3 weeks and I still don’t have my debit card nor a phone call from the manager needless to say I don’t feel safe with my money at that location. Time to close my account.

OL KIMES2There to open 2 new accounts and Ashleigh acted as I was a bother to her. She never told me her name till I ask for a card. Worst personality I have ever dealt with , almost walked out. After thinking about it I am going to close them and also my business account that I had for years. Chase flagship bank where people hate to go into to do business you can’t find a smiling face.
